Mihoyo/Hoyoverse is a multi BILLION dollar company and it can’t make dark skinned characters? If they want to add representation then they have to do it all the way. Stop making snowbunnies and start making non-ashy characters who have a little melanin. Even the voice actors are speaking up. Where is the rep? Where???

Imaginarium Theatre has participation requirements that are far too steep and is too difficult! Not at all free to play friendly! Not worth getting invested into so you’re better off staying away! Gross, predatory game that tries to force players into spending money.

Imaginarium Theater is an incredibly gross, transparent attempt at forcing people into spending money on this awful game! Do not download, do not invest a single cent into this terrible, predatory game!

The addition of the Imaginarium Theater is the worst thing that has ever happened to this game! The amount of characters you need to have built in order to even get to participate at all is absurdly high and wasting all your resources building characters you hate feels awful. Getting the amount of artifact XP needed for even a quarter of the characters required is impossible to do in one month thereby locking the largest amount of players out of participating and earning primogems. Worst of all they got rid of one Spiral Abyss reset and replaced it with this! Gone are all the primogems you could have earned using 8 built characters and instead we are now expected to build 18 of them, oh and it’s a different 18 characters every month! It’s an incredibly transparent and gross attempt at forcing people into spending money on characters they don’t even want just to have enough characters to participate. And to shove the Battle Pass in their faces as a way of getting more resources to build characters. This is absolutely despicable and makes me regret ever having spent a single cent on this game! Do not download this game, do not give them a single dime of your money, ever! You never know when they’ll turn around and pull a cheap stunt like this… I am honestly considering quitting the game over this and would have already if it weren’t for my difficulties overcoming the sunk cost fallacy… Just stay away from this terrible game.

Biggest dissapointment of a game

I've spent 4 years, 4 whole years on hoping for the better on this game. What am I finding out? That it's a lost hope. When I first started, I was greeted by the memorable characters of Mondstadt and Liyue. The graphics were amazing and I was drawn to it immediately. When Inazuma came out, I was even more delighted. It all stopped until I found out about Honkai Impact 3rd, their older game with a futuristic and tech-like design. I left Genshin Impact for that. Nostalgia of course, got to me, and I went back to Genshin Impact. I was so excited for Sumeru, but then lost hopes when I saw the character design and the amount of grinding I have to do for my wanted character. Up until now, I haven't got all my wanted characters, because I'm free to play, I couldn't possibly stay inside all day and milk all the primogems I could possibly get. I want to point out the anniversary rewards...In comparison with Honkai Impact 3rd, I have to say there is a strong difference. Honkai Impact 3rd offered free S-ranks(5 stars) in anniversary if you do some quests and even free S-ranker selector. Not to mention, they've been offering S-rankers(and GOOD ones at that) outside of anniversaries and you could get them by doing some quests. When Fontaine came, I was excited once again. I've got drawn to Neuvillette, and only him. I did grind for him, and I got him, to my luck. I had to leave the game then, because I had to focus on my studies. And now, I found myself wanting to start playing again, hopefully. My friends wanted to play and I knew I had to update the game. Only to find out that on laptop, the device I play on, they created a launcher for all their games. I linked my Genshin Impact and I had to start the update, not hoping to see the low downloading rate. In 6-7 hours, the game updated from 83% to 100%, the first set of installing. Now, I'm waiting for the verifying to finish. It started off well and now at 99%, it's starting to get bumpy, not even being able to do a simple thing as that. When I first started, I didn't think that I'd stick to a game for 4 years... I thought it'd be just a phase. And now I'm finding myself going back to it. To check on my characters, on the story vice versa. I've grown EXHAUSTED of Hoyoverse's ignorance to the community and their opinions and issues. Speaking of which, Hoyoverse is a large company with a high profit every year. I left a customer support message, yet it hasn't even been answered even after 6 or 7 hours. I expect

If you are going to represent different countrys and culture you should know that using the same white skin color will upset people. Why are you so scared to have Black characters?? Cant yall see this has made ppl upset and now they wont forgive you for your incompetence. Do better or else nobody is going to spend anything on this damn game.

Sadly, with the new natlan teaser out, I cannot help but say that I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the pale characters we got, except Iansan(thank u for saving the teaser! Hope u don’t get nerfed!) It is time to speak up about it, and i have to say a few stuff: -In Mualanis splash art, and her in the teaser, her skin colour changes. In the splash art her skin is lighter and in the teaser her skin is darker (hopefully it’s the lightning.) -Ororon is based of the Yoruba deity, which is dark skinned. It’s not that hard to make a character dark skinned -Dark skinned people do not have any representation in the game, if this game wants to have a GLOBAL audience, then it needs to make more types of characters and not just pale. we need more people to speak up about it. Respectfully, please fix this hoyoverse.. 🙁

stop the cultural appropriation and whitewashing!!! the colorism is showing. you could do way better but you choose to ignore these issues. many players were already saddened by the lack of melanin in sumeru where people were supposed to be literally tanned and dark skinned, we all had a little hope for natlan... and you did it again hoyoverse! you've managed to disappoint again with these character reveals. not all the people in this world are paper-white so take some more notes, please!
