GlobeOne: Get More from Globe

This app updates far too regularly, can’t access without updating either.

The app will not let me pay. I have tried numerous times using my debit card to pay for a promo in the app but it will not go through. After confirming the payment in my banking app and being redirected, I am met with the message “We are having issues. Please try again later.” Payment will only go through rarely. I was successful going through the same process of buying a promo after nearly a whole day of repeatedly trying. This was meant to be an easy and convenient method of paying but instead has been frustrating.

Purchased Globe Sim for my phone and shortly after purchased a prepaid Gfiber modem. What a mistake and a waste of money. To Globe developer, a simple question for you and just tell the TRUTH in your reply, don’t ask me to contact your support. Here goes, What is your problem here with anyone using a VPN? This is becoming a pure copycat of China, North Korea & Vietnam? I can get 35 mbps when not connected to any of my VPN’s. I have tried 3 paid for major VPN’s which I have subscribed to for some year, but your download speed is 0.2 mbps or even less, sometimes as low as 0.03 mbps so I cannot download a short television program even in 360p. When your installation guys were here, the download speed using my VPN was about 31 mbps so only a small drop in speed which I expect. But now you throttle my VPN speed to unusable you are wasting your profits along with my time and money. I don’t need any story from you about my VPN being to blame it is clearly the Internet Provider, yes yourselves Globe. But you’re not alone other providers here try the same tricks. You are just like little children playing your silly little games, about time you lot wise up and provide a proper service. I won’t waste money on your service if 0.2 mbps is all I can get when using a VPN. The installation guy said that Globe like to control the internet so yeah that’s about right… Your modem is so useless it doesn’t even have any security to speak of. That will go straight where it belongs, in the TRASH BIN

I have NEVER EVER come across an app as RUBBISH as this!!!!!!!!!!!! It reflects Globe’s total disregard for its customers and their feedback on this app. It’s just taken an hour of repeated FAILURES, (each one different!) simply to try to buy a load. I’ve tried 2 different VISA cards and a MASTERCARD, two different Wi-Fi routers, a Samsung and an iPhone. How many updates does it take to produce an app that works????? This is absolutely pathetic…..

As per other reviews, this app fails to complete many times when load /data purchasing. Maybe an issue with the third party security checking but whatever it is it fails frequently. Expect to waste half your life trying to renew your data. And how about including options for buying load/ data for longer periods of time ? That would reduce the amount of hours of my life I lose when trying to purchase.

I bought this Globe Sim & downloaded app whilst travelling in the Philippines. After jumping through multiple hoops to register the Sim, I found the app utterly useless and trying to buy data through the app an absolute nightmare, never really functioned properly so I’ll be roaming on another network provider next visit. what a shame globe can’t provide a decent service to travellers and a loss of foreign revenue for this wonderful country.

I buy data boosts all the time because it is soooooo slow and i suspect that i am out of data…. because the app shows ZERO data left. Then i discover that the app is showing ZERO data remaining even after i pay for a data-boost. So am i paying for nothing? I spent ages waiting on the Customer Care Line and was told to reload the app. It made no difference. DO THE DEVELOPERS READ THESE REVIEWS? IF THEY DO WHY, OH WHY, OH WHY DON’T THEY DO SOMETHING TO ADDRESS THE ISSUES. Probably best if the developers scrap the app and start developing another from scratch! Btw….. one ‘good’ thing: Globe always makes sure their bills are on time even for non-existent data.

I added 2000 peso load and it won’t even allow me to pay for a data plan. And I can’t withdraw my funds either. Complete SCAM and app doesn’t even work

Doesn't work properly as intended. As soon as you launch the app it tells you that there has no internet. Cannot set up profile nor register your number. Even after an update it still acts the same. Unreliable app, feels like the devs has abandoned the app. They just made this for show as the government required users to “register” their number for record purposes and safety. So the app’s feature was just ignored eventually. If i could remove this app in the app store i would. Its a total waste of space. Apple please add 0 star review.

This app does not allow me the log in to my account to blocks my entry every time I try to log in crap services from a crap network
