i love it when the app recomends me some books, i love it because i can read other people’s opinions about the book i want to read. It’s the best community i’ve ever been to ❤️‍🔥

Loading error that doesn’t allow me to update the books I read.

In the past few days I am getting notification that the newer version is available but it does not give a newer version in the app store. Deleted the app from phone and downloaded the latest, still the same pop up is shown. Also, the search somewhat not working, even Jane Austin is not found in the search. Terrible. I want you to improve.

Henrik Fexeus ir Camilla Lackberg „Dėžė“ Nesu detektyvų, trilerių ar panašaus siužeto knygų didelė gerbėja. Tačiau ši knyga patraukė dėmesį, nes buvau susipažinusi su H.Flexeu kūryba bendravimo, kūno kalbos temomis: „Galios žaidimai“, „Ką ir kaip pasakome be žodžių. 6 jausmas. Bendravimo menas“. „Dėžė“ dviejų autorių kūrinys. Ir stebino ir nuvylė. Bene turbūt mėgstamiausia H.Flexeus frazė „žmonės su jumis elgiasi taip, kaip jums jiems leidžiate su savimi elgtis“ kartojosi per dažnai ir priminė bendravimo meno vadovėlį. Tačiau, kaip bebūtų, mentalistas yra mentalistas ir sugebėjo prikaustyti dėmesį taip, jog užteko mažiau nei savaitgalio knygai perskaityti. Nors, dar neįpusėjus knygos, istorijos žemėlapis ir pabaiga galvoje susidėliojo ir bingo: ne visada kaltas liokajus, nes šioje knygoje jo tiesiog nėra, o aš pataikiau kas žudikas ir nupieštąsias tamsiąsias personažų puses. Istorijos pradžia ir pabaiga, mano skoniui kiek žiaurokos, tačiau vėl gi smalsumas nugalėjo ir leidau rašytojams mane vesti per puslapius, nors ties 10psl. buvau beužverčianti knygą. Kam patinka serialas “Mentalistas” patiks ir šis romanas. Sodrūs personažai ir apimantis jausmas, jog rašytojai tikrai žinojo kas jų personažų šaldytuvuose ir slapčiausiose mintyse. Policija, magiškieji triukai, kaimas ir didmiestis, subyrėjusios šeimos ir imigrantė medicinos ekspertė iš Lietuvos, gražiu meilės deivės vardu. Kam patinka kalbos padargai, tai ši knyga ir “galios žaidimai” must read.

Total waste of time. Not a platform to read anything. It is just a mundane platform to show that what you read in general outside the app. If you plan to actually get ebook there to read, look out other ways.

Love the concept of Goodreads, and I also love the app itself, with one glaring (half-serious) issue: The rating system for books is too imprecise. At the moment it’s only possible to give a book “whole” stars, for example 4 stars or 5 stars, but not 4.5. I don’t know how many times I have wanted to give a book 3.5 stars (good, not great, but not the bang average 3 stars), or even more often 4.5 stars (great books that I loved, but maybe not life-changing as 5/5 stars implies). Introducing at least .5 steps (no need to overcomplicate it) would make this app even better!
