Goodreads: Book Reviews

The app is slow to load and there are a lot of glitches. Not very user friendly either.

Ok. I have a problem where Goodreads update reminder keep pop up on whenever I use the apps. The problem I don’t see a button to update this apps which is really annoying on my side. I couldn’t search for books anymore or anything until these bugs update is installed. Such a nightmare on my side. Looks like I’ve becoming a sitting duck to this apps. Do something like auto update. I don’t care what version it is!!

I can’t uninstall it. I deleted my account already but still can’t even delete.

when is goodreads app going to be as smooth as the desktop website? forget that the UI alone looks like it was created in the early 2000s, the app is so buggy and crashes so much! i was in the middle of writing a review when it crashed and my review is gone now thanks so much good reads. at least allow me to save a draft of my review or something.

The app help keep track of your book progress and easy way to track back your library (virtually). Also I use this app to jot down things I want to recall back sentences or phrases back.

A very good app for reader. Helps you a lot woth your digital bookshelves and keep track of the record for all the book you read. You can keep note for after every reading session you ends.

Unable or do not know how to click open the book to read. Are these books free for reading. Not familiar with your app. Please reply. Thanks Ms Y

I have used Goodreads apps for almost 10 years. Till now, I still use this apps but not as active and enganging as 5 years ago. 5 years ago, there are a lot of special and extra function in Goodreads other than reviewing books that we read. Among the extra interesting functions are: 1. Librarians. We can add rare and special edition books in goodreads. I read a lot of Arabic and Malay works previously which around 70% of my selection, are not in Goodreads. I’m more than happy to add the book in Goodreads during that time. 2. Most Read Authors function. This one is really interesting because we can know whose author that we read most and who are among the most influential authors that influenced our mind. Sadly, there is no more button function for this for the past few years. 3. Years in Books. This function also is very intriguing since we can track our reading trend during that year. Which genre, we focus most and which genre we are lack on. Sadly, last year, the function started to be disabled until the end of year and this year, the function already disabled. These are the three basics and unique function in Goodreads that is not present in other reading apps. Hopefully, Goodreads team can consider to enable this function back, so that readers can enjoy using this apps and not moving and using the other reading apps which offer their own unique functions.
