Grim Fandango Remastered

Completed this game by playing the whole SUNDAY(Just in 1 day). This game has got an amazing scrip and gameplay. As usual the old classic was remastered wonderfully.This game script time has 4 years and is planned completely the best way possible. This game completely revolves on an underworld sort of Gang who steal Golden train ticket from the dead good beings and sell them for rich rascal beings. Manny finally as a grim manages to kill the boss in the final minutes of the game by giving the boss some poison gas and sprouting him. Ohh boy not to forget the WHITE TRAIN which takes Manny and all good beings to heaven.The White train looks so awesome. THE HEAVEN TRAIN !!!

I had bought the original version years ago and loved it. I uploaded it to my new I-Phone yesterday from the App Store. There are subtitles but no sound and the sound is one of the best parts’

I loved playing this ob my PC years ago so sad excited to see it available here and remastered too. Short lived though since once I purchased it and tried to play on my iPhone it was so difficult to navigate Manny around. Kept glitching when trying to access my inventory and the storyline sequences sometimes did not play out correctly. Kept having to restart or redo certain tasks… so disappointing.

My husband and I played this while stuck together out of town. Great fun!

Fun throwback so far

Okay I just completed this game 25 years after it came out. I know it’s a pretty old game, but I know other 25 yo games, which is much better then this. The locations are fine, the story is ok. But quests doesn’t make any sense at all. It’s totally random. Whatever logical you could think would be cut off. All the puzzles in this game are totally illogical and that’s what annoying me the most

It won’t load the graphics are glitching and they talk and it cuts out then the controls won’t work at all I don’t know if my iPhone 7 is just to old to play this on or if it’s just not made well but either way I’m deleting it and requesting a refund as soon as it shows me I’m allowed to request a refund

Hint I learned 3/4 through the game: if you hold your finger down and run it over the screen, you can see all the routes to leave the screen and all the items you can investigate. Really helps with puzzle solving.

For a game from 1997, this is fantastic even for today’s standards! I assume it’s been reworked a bunch to work on iOS, but I was still blown away by the quality of this game. The graphics were excellent, the story was very creative, the music was very cool, and the voice acting was top-notch. A lot of humor as well, and with a film-noir vibe. I will admit, it was a bit tricky to solve, but I feel that’s what also made it good. It wasn’t too easy. And if I got stuck, I just went to a walkthrough. There were no glitches, and it would auto-save whenever you accomplished anything significant. Thank you to LucasArts for producing the game to begin with, and thank you to Apple for putting it out again. It’s well worth the $5 if you enjoy adventure games that are different and creative. 👍

Except that I can’t exit the crane after breaking the rock crushers.
