Beschreibung

The Happiest Baby App is the mobile companion to your Happiest Baby devices. This includes SNOO Smart Sleeper—a safer and more effective baby bed—and SNOObie Smart Soother—the sound machine, nightlight, and sleep trainer.

Created by Dr. Harvey Karp, renowned paediatrician and sleep expert, SNOO intelligently responds to your baby’s needs and, within just days, helps the whole family get sleep. It calms fussing and aids sleep with the rhythmic sound and motion that babies find so soothing in the womb.

SNOObie is an all-in-one white noise machine and nightlight system! It helps settle your sweetie, keep scaries at bay, teach calming breathing, and create easy-peasy sleep routines. This portable bedtime buddy features customisable nightlight colours and special soothing sounds.

SNOO Features:
SNOO Log: Tracks your baby's sleep every day...automatically.
Alerts: Lets you know if your baby needs more than SNOO's soothing (due to hunger or discomfort).
Remote Control: You can quickly respond to your baby's needs by adjusting SNOO’s levels up and down.
Customise: Pick the best motion and white noise settings for your baby.
Adapt: Lets you boost the level of rhythmic sensation—like riding in a car all night (reduces sleep disruptions from stuffy noses, growth spurts, sleep regressions, teething, etc.)
Easy Weaning: Special setting helps babies learn to sleep without motion, to prepare for moving to a cot.

SNOObie Features:
Connect and have fun with your SNOObie routines! Choose your favourite SNOObie light + sound cues to create up to 4 routines at a time that fit your family. To create a routine, pick your preferred light colour, sound, time, and day(s) of the week. Once you save the routine, set it by tapping your device to SNOObie, and your routine will be ready to play when the scheduled day and time arrives.

A Wi-Fi® connection is required to connect the App to your Happiest Baby devices. An NFC-enabled device is required to connect the App to SNOObie. For more info, visit HappiestBaby.co.uk or connect with us at [email protected] if you have any questions!

Garbage App for a predatory price

Victoria Jaclyn on

Kanada

The app on its best day is clunky and awful, on its usual day simply has a terrible interface, freezes, and is just generally unpleasant to interact with. Now they’re trying to charge you $20USD to access the literal most basic features, rendering the entire product only 25% functioning. I would not recommend this product to a single person now. I could understand maybe $5-10 but $20 is an insane starting price.

Greedy bait and switch, beware!

Homecomingwarrior on

They are now charging a subscription for features that were previously included in the SNOO and the resell value has taken a big hit due to their greedy practices. We have a secondhand SNOO and were happy users until this change. Avoid if possible!

Retroactive paywall should be illegal

goodwida on

I wish I could say I couldn’t believe it. We love the product but are super disappointed in the company for paywalling features which were originally included with the product. If they were new features I could understand the addition but this is for important features like weaning mode which families have come to rely on.

Greed ruining another good thing

Locking away existing functionality behind an exorbitant subscription while not adding anything useful.

Predatory and clunky

Alexithymix on

We loved our snoo but the app has always been meh to use. We were annoyed initially getting moved to the happiest baby app instead of the original app, and then to make matters worse the new app doesn’t increase functionality, it just takes a lot longer to do anything (too many clicks to get anywhere) Now they’ve gone and made layers of subscriptions on the app that take away basic features we purchased the snoo for and completely ruin our plans of supporting family by passing it on. Had we known this it would have completely changed our buying decision. So so so disappointed at this predatory behaviour with their already sub par software experience.

Used to be good, avoid now!!

Now the Snoo, a premium item almost $2000, has BASIC FEATURES locked behind a ridiculously expensive monthly subscription. If it were $5 or $10 a month then maybe it’s worth it but at the current pricing the Snoo is not worth the money. Garbage company, avoid avoid avoid!

Greedy company bait and switch

The new paid subscription is incredibly disappointing. They are taking advantage of desperate new parents who have already put in way too much money into a bassinet. The features they’ve put behind a paywall are basic, and what I thought I was paying for when I initially bought the bassinet. The greed of this company is obvious, and pathetic.

App features additional charge

fufniidxj on

I purchased the snoo in late 2023 and was grandfathered in to continuing to receive previously free features at no cost until March 2025. For almost $1800 Canadian you’d think there should be no additional costs… I purchased the snoo as an investment with the anticipation it would be used for multiple children.. In addition I have been using the feeding log on the app to keep track of formula feeds. Not only does the main summary page not update with new information you inout, you are also unable to customize the feeding page to indicate your preferred feeding option first. It doesn’t seem like a big deal but breastmilk and formula are tracked on 2 separate chart so if you accidentally defer to the first option (breastmilk) it won’t appear on the bottle chart and therefore throws off the tracking… for a paid feature you should be able to customize the log to suit your needs vs just having the standard options. For a free app, this is tolerable, for an app they are trying to have people pay $20/month this is unacceptable. The news articles the app provides are pointless as well. I would imagine they should be snoo specific to help with sleep training or provide information about infant growth progression that impact sleep with the snoo but I was wrong. They were very genetic articles with information that is readily available online with a quick google search. If this is a selling feature to have people pay $20/month for the app the articles should be of a higher calibre. For that matter all the features should be improved as it feels like the app is still in beta mode…

Unhappy

adammcd3 on

Kanada

This company recently made it so that certain features of the app will now only be included with a $20/month premium subscription, including sleep/feeding/diaper logs, level lock, sensitivity and responsiveness adjustments, and weaning to crib for example. To advertise these as key features when selling the nearly $2000 product and then remove those unless you pay a monthly fee, this app and company is practicing in a disgraceful and unethical manner and I can therefore not recommend this product.

Subscription

Subscription is not worth it on

Kanada

Do not recommend this app due to the subscription they implemented. It’s a high price tag for the product which is beneficial for sleep for baby and parents but do not recommend the monthly subscription fee
