HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery

It would be great to have the language as english at least in the application

As a chef, I am writing my first review for an app. The freshness of the delivered ingredients and the quality of the packaging were truly astonishing! Due to my profession, I've had many experiences ordering ingredients from outside, but this time I was genuinely impressed. The products were completely fresh and securely packaged. Their professionalism is commendable! I highly recommend this fantastic service to others. I can't wait to place another order. Thank you!

I made my first trial order in France in May. I wasn’t at home during the first delivery attempt and they couldn’t leave the box outside, so I asked my neighbor to collect the box for me next day, but nobody even called, resulting in a quietly failed delivery attempt. I realized HelloFresh doesn’t quite fit my lifestyle, so I suspended the account and blocked the virtual bank card linked to it to be sure I don’t get charged anymore. After 3 months while waiting for another delivery I got an unexpected box from HelloFresh (without any warning or charging the card). At first it seemed like a funny situation: finally I could see the initial delivery after 3 months. But soon after I started getting annoying notifications of the unpaid bill of 40 eur. The support team confirmed there was no mistake and my only option was to pay up. When they threatened to pass the case to the collectors while doubling the amount, I decided to pay up to avoid further fuzz, but I committed to leaving negative reviews whenever possible and prevent others from getting deceived by HelloFresh. So: be careful with them and be aware they may send the box you don’t really need and that’s you thereafter even if there are no valid means of payment linked to your account.

This app is terrible

I decided to give Hello Fresh another try after several years. According to the app, my box was delivered at noon, but nothing ever showed up. I’ve canceled Hello Fresh for good this time.

While HelloFresh is convenient for your routine living circumstances, it is not worth losing money when going away on vacation or for business since you will be charged for the max. amount of boxes in your plan still. In other words, it is not flexible when you need to lower your meals for a one-off scenario. Mistakenly thinking I planned ahead and took care of only ordering four meals for the week we were traveling, I was still charged for ten. Some may not care for this occasional over charge fee, but I am trying to save money, not waste it. Customer Service was also zero help when I attempted to get a refund for this over charge. Instead the customer service representative, David, cancelled my account when I didn’t request that action be taken.

Healthy choices, kids love it. So easy to do! Best delivery meal system, hands down

We love the food and the ingredients. However, we are seniors living in a condo building. The boxes are too heavy for us. A few times we have had drivers that have helped. Today, was the best! She buzzed us, waited for me to come to the lobby because I couldn’t figure out our new system. She was kind and patient- she’s a keeper!
