IDAGIO - Classical Music App

I had this app on my iPhone 12 Pro Max.. Paid for worked fine. But since I upgraded to the 15 Pro Max it has only given me the free version though I am paying for it ( and yes I checked the App Store ) It works with premium on my old phone ( but that has poorer battery life ) and really ! I have never had this problem with any app before. I tried unsubscribing and subscribing again. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app. After unsubscribing ( again ) , starting afresh with a different email, and subscribing to a higher tier Premium Plus so my subscription started anew today, the same thing happened. Freemium for a Premium price. Can’t tap on and play any track I want. Playlists in shuffle mode. Notice when I tap individual tracks that I need to subscribe. But I am subscribed ! I am certain of it . Not an app for anyone who wants to update their device. Unbelievable.

I have had a subscription to adagio for some years, but it seems that since the last update to your app, it simply shut down when I key in my login details and password

I’ve immensely enjoyed classical music during my childhood but as time passed by I grew apart. IDAGIO has become a part of my daily routine in the recent years and fills my days with nostalgia and joy, thanks to lossless streaming quality and a generous selection. So far I haven’t come across any annoying technical problems and their curation is also praise worthy.

It is more convenient to use this app to listen to good recordings than having to worry about ads on YouTube. I’d rather subscribe the idagio service than eviltube premium. I also appreciate this app for not having a comment section. I used to use other classical streaming apps but they had social media infestation which sullies the ‘experience’

Now there is 0 song in that playlist - gone!

Half the functions (queue track, shuffle etc.) don’t even work. The app just shuts it self and freezes all the time. Created playlists gets put in jumbled orders for no reason. Only using it now because there are no alternatives. Can’t wait till Apple comes out with their classical music so there’s an actual decent app with a tolerable user interface. Two stars because of good search categorisation.

IDAGIO is a vast library of recordings from the past and up to the latest releases. Every week, there are new and stimulating suggestions. I have greatly enlarged my musical knowledge and experience by exploring this cornucopia of classical music. Exploring the collection is so easy with simple clicks and immediate responses. Serious music listeners cannot ignore this streaming service which was recommended to me by practising musicians who know the classical music world.

Great concept, I subscribe, but sometimes find myself going back to Google Play Music. Why: the gap in playback between tracks is a killer and can completely spoil the moment in transitions b/w movements..... Fixed with very helpful advice from Idagio - bought a Sonos Connect second hand on ebay - works flawlessly with an optical output into my DAC! Very responsive and helpful advice from Idagio.
