Bought the new 4.4 Doser tried to connect on two 2.4 systems and Bluetooth doesn’t connect. App is useless and they expect you to completely reconfigure your WiFi so that the unit should work. I am returning to the retailer after spending the entire day trying to get this to work. The app is appalling and very basic.

I’ve spent hours trying to use this app to set up my pump and Wavemaker. After 3hrs finally got the pump connected to internet, but doesn’t show up in app. Given up on wave maker, can connect via AP on phone, but app never recognises the device. Absolutely terrible, no tech support available either.

Overall, this is a fairly decent app, and allows me to control my Doser and wave-makers easily. Setup was simple, and unlike the other review, I had no issue signing up for an account, which seems pretty standard for any of the wifi tech these days. The bit that I find terrible, and cannot understand the logic at all, as it isn’t used in any other app I’ve used, is this concept of a Long press to drill into your equipment. It should be a tap, like every other app in the world. It means it is quite easy to turn off (or turn on which can be even worse) without realising. For example, turning on a dosing channel by accident and dumping a weeks worth of chemicals into the tank in a few minutes. This weird long press thing really should be changed.

True wanted to go for a cheap option and voila. App is crap, product crap. App needs first of all to know your exact location which from the start is concerning. You do that and then you try adding the devices. The wavemaker self deletes itself and the dosing pump adds to the list but no wifi. Spent many hours and I’m frustrated to the moon and back. Stay away from the wifi/app version🤬

Just upgraded to one of these from an older Jebao model, the pump is fine, the app is terrible. Theirs no clear instructions of how to do anything and the app is just poorly programmed. I cant see a way to set different patterns at different times of the day, I’m sure it’s possible, but lord knows how! The app also requires an account which seems to be pointless! I literally cannot see the advantage to using the app over just using the control panel on the pump, which is a huge shame!

To connect a Wave maker to your Wifi you MUST sign-in with a Jebao account. This means that if there is no internet, you cannot connect to the wave maker. On the other hand when I am not at home, I cannot connect to the wave maker either. So what's the point of requiring to login? This is borderline invasive in terms of privacy. Interface: the app does not register taps but only long presses. At first I thought my iPhone screen was broken. It is such a bad design. Programming: If you drag the end time before the start time, the segment overrides all the other segments you laboured to program! Infuriating. I have no idea how this app passed the app store verifications.

So I connected my wifi pump which is excellent but I when I click on the item in the menu it goes off, I click again it goes off! No option to increase or decrease the power or change to feed mode. Very Poor.

Spend 3 days making it work with multiple devises and routers, One problem after another. It simply dont work. Its just an expensive syringe. Thats all. Now I'm in the dispute with the seller. Save your time, energy and money. Don't buy it.

Won’t let me set up program for my dosing pump.

WiFi reef doser rendered useless by this abysmal application. Dosing time off by actual time, often doesn’t work at all. Toggle interfaces rarely react to touching the screen. The schedule isn’t able to be programmed by days of the week. God I can just go on and on
