Joplin

I have been using this app for several months and I have to admit that this app is truly amazing. The UI is beautiful and everything is intuitive and easy to use. I have synchronisation set up with my Nextcloud server and it works like a charm. It has everything I need. I highly recommend it.

If you like control over your own data and are tired of evernote wanting you to upgrade subscriptions this is the app for you. Simple, stable, open source, … great job!

Très bonne intégration avec nextcloud. Une bonne app pour n’importe quel système. Plugin Firefox également disponible. Fluide, efficace.

Impossible to join notes on remote server

Cross platform support (i.e. independence), Linux compatibility, webdav storage, encryption, open source, active development, synchronisation managing well with potential conflicts, ... I have been using it on 3 platforms for months now (and the only problem I encountered was my wife not being able to read a shopping list because I had just set it up on a different computer and not yet decrypted on her side...). Also, I was not a markdown user before switching to MailMate for my email and Joplin for my notes and have embraced it very easily, it’s very enjoyable. Bravo.

J’utilise Joplin depuis plusieurs mois sur mes différents équipements : iPhone, MacBook, Linux etc... et cela fonctionne parfaitement via un nextcloud privé. La synchronisation est un peu lente au démarrage mais c’est un léger inconvénient par rapport à la qualité de cette application.

This is the beginning of an amazing MarkDown write/note/todo application, where you own your content! Simple interface that need some work but all is working fine on already all main existing devices, plus working sync. 4 stars because it looks promising and very active and it supports from iOS 8 on! Thanks!!!

Does not integrate well with DropBox. You don’t really "sync," it’s more like a cloud backup. It is an excellent local note-taking and to-do list app, but the lack of easy and reliable synch is a problem.

I have an exported todo list I would like to import manually. However, the has no such feature.

I like the desktop version of the app but I don't think syncing works across devices. I'm paying for cloud , but it doesn't work.
