They did some updates on freezing issues. it's still slow. it should be better than this *** Now it's crashing on iPadOS 17.3.1. IT'S STILL SLOW. WHAT ARE THE SLOW MENUS DOING - MINING BITCOIN IN THE BACKGROUND? WHY IS THE MENU INTERFACE STILL SO SLOW? What did you do, write it in Electron? the app is laggy and slow and freezes on an ipad air 3, especially the menus. it's a simple puzzle game. what is it doing? **** Dark mode at night is a joke. flash teal, then back to black? CHODE and REGES are in? AX and SEXY are disallowed? really? UPDATE 3: TRUES ? UPDATE 2: SOMEWHATS ? ISMS ? really? dictionary and plurals are broken. UPDATE: surprisingly, I've stuck with it, though the American language grates. Today, the daily classic and mini had FLIED and AMIDS as words. FLIED is, I think, some baseball specific term, but AMIDS? really? More attention needs to be paid to word choice, selecting from words common across multiple variants of English. Daily wordle player here. I tried to like this, got through the ten free puzzles easily sans hints, did a bunch of dailies. but this won't have staying power in its ever more convoluted puzzles. and the slow grid animation landscape behind the playing area makes me queasy. [option now added to disable it, but it defaults to on] Rather like Zach Gage's ReallyBadChess, this is smart, fairly polished ,well executed for what it is... but somehow empty and ultimately unfulfilling. Oh, and I have to subscribe to see previous puzzles I've completed? that's nickel and diming, and leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

The daily minis are a fresh take on crosswords. Great user interface too. Very intuitive

I love this game so much, I usually only use my phone for puzzle games, and this has definitely become my favourite one. I only have two small suggestions that would greatly improve my enjoyment of the app!! 1. Currently, the only options for stats at the end of the game are on/off. But, there is no way to speed up the display of data. There should be an option for this, as it can be frustrating finishing a puzzle just to be forced to wait through each line of stats at the end appearing one at a time!! 2. Sometimes, there will be a word that is not part of my vocabulary that has ended up the final solution, and I'd really like to learn it's definition. The app has a function for that, but it is not always helpful!! Oftentimes, I've tried to get the definition of a word only to get "plural of _____" or similar as a response! If there is some way to fix the definitions so they give more information on the word, or maybe even a quick link to the Merriam-Webster site for their definition, that would be amazing!! As I said, I love this game, and currently have a 400+ streak on the daily puzzles. I'd love to give it five stars, but at this point, with these two little things that bug me, I don't feel like I can.

I was enjoying this, but I’ve stopped. Pretty sure some words don’t exist, and some words are inappropriate, especially if this has a 4+ age rating.

UPDATE: Very grateful for your speedy response to my email and fixing the July Playbook bug! Thank you🙂 Edit: So it’s unplayable again-same issue different games. The 0/10 ‘free’ games in the July playbook are missing black squares making it impossible to get past the first of ten (free) games. This is just like the last issue only in a different game-set. Frustrating now😩 UPDATE: Appreciate how quickly you squished that bug! I don’t even mind playing catch-up for a week to regain my playing streak, just grateful for that option. Another positive about the game🙂 EDIT: Unplayable today. Missing black boxes and when you can work that out, it won’t let you complete a game. Will probably lose my streak now! Any fix? No update for ages (v.1.0.17) UPDATE: 12 months down the track and I’m still enjoying your FREE daily games, and still loving this part of my day. I’m just so impressed you haven’t altered any of the nasty things like mining through my personal data, forcing ads on me, or worse - forcing funds from me! I’m one very grateful addict 🤗 thank you Zach! EDIT: Great that you don’t force ads for free games (2 daily), and don’t collect any data! Such a treat to do in 5 minute coffee break. Thanks guys 👍🏼

I really enjoy it and it is a good challenging. You should buy it. It’s better than you think. Fun, free and good for your brain. Hope you enjoy!

I loved this game and I paid to unlock the whole thing. Woke up to July 1 with every daily buggy to the degree they can’t be solved, same as the July puzzle books. Emailed the company about it, not a word yet. Can’t play it like this, deleting game if they don’t fix it today because all my streaks will be broken.

Something is wrong. None of the puzzles are playable today.

I SWEAR the July 1 2023 mini puzzle is impossible to solve. I’ve used anagram solvers and hints for every word and can’t get it. I’m not sure if it’s an error but please
