Great game, toxic community
I took a 2 year break or so and recently returned to the game because I was curious how it compared to HoK which I started playing a few months ago since global launch. I think it’s great to see how much innovation they brought to the gameplay with the hex tech and driving the mech trex was pretty cool. However coming back the stark contrast with the toxicity in the game was glaringly obvious. No matter how pretty the crystal rose skins, I just don’t want to be dealing with these kind of faul, mentally unstable players in my downtime. I really wish Riot would crack down on the bad behaviour more because these people are scaring off the decent players. Also the pricepoint for the skins is just insane and the gacha really stingy. I only play WR now once and again to play with old friends or just take a break from HoK - I don’t see this becoming my main game unless they radically improved their social.
Good game, but it has Gacha systems.
You need to pay hundreds of dollars to get anything good. And just like in all Riot games, you cannot buy the right amount of currency for what you want to buy. You can either buy less, or more currency than what you need. Psychological tactic. Research it.
Unbalanced
After a few weeks of playing I hit level 16, jumped into match making and what a joke, the worst experience ever. My team was all around level 20, the opponent was all level 100+ Legit, the worst experience on a MOBA game. Go play Mobile legends, Atleast that game has balanced match making.

Gameplay is amazing , amazing characters!! ..but….
I love the game play the conversion from League of legends is smooth. Despite some server issues i think as a game its really well made and so fun! Every ‘event’ in the game feels like its just a gatcha cash grab its hard to be excited or be loyal to the game when you have to pay to participate in most events. League had a kinder model and more rewarding model for loyal players. You will have to scrape the bottom of the barrel if you are fee to play.Even if you pay on occasion.
Game plays like a power point presentation
If you like 3 second stutters, disconnects, lag spikes, 20 fps and unresponsive UI then you will love this game
