Please give us an option to launch the app with the camera muted, or at least follow system volume. Having the camera audio automatically turn on and MUCH louder than my phone volume is set is a huge issue when rocking a baby to sleep. Will update review if issue is fixed

App is fine except if I check on the monitor it always overrides my phone’s volume and turns the volume way up. I wish I could check on my baby without the volume going way up automatically

This app is ok. Not perfect and that’s alright. My biggest gripe is that it will randomly not detect motion or sound. Kind of defeats the purpose of the app and having the camera set to wifi (which creeps me out, but I digress…) There’s also no troubleshoot option for this, no contact option, and it doesn’t have a quick way to resolve itself (disconnecting/reconnecting camera does nothing, force closing app does nothing, etc.) just have to wait it out until it magically re-appears. Ugh.

Please fix your app. It worked fine a few months ago. You guys fixed the notifications issue but since then it hasn’t been recording sound/motion.

We received our baby monitor as a gift. It worked for one year, coincidentally corresponding with the crappy 1-year warranty, and then stopped connecting to wifi and Bluetooth. This app was always glitchy- frequently crashing and very slow. The camera and monitor were OK while they worked but now I find myself with no baby monitor. I called customer service and received no service: “ Unfortunately,” the product is not covered under warranty, they do not repair units, and they do not have any promotions that would allow me to replace the unit for less than full price. How convenient for them! I would never have registered for this baby monitor had I known. I’m hoping this review will help other parents researching monitors.

Please, for the love of all that is holy figure out how to auto mute in the app so that every time I open up the monitor, my child is not screaming right in my ears. Either default to mute or have it remember your last setting. I’m so sick of being screamed at every single time I use the monitor

Every time opening the app whether fresh or switching from another app, the volume is reset to near maximum, startling everybody. You have to tap the video feed and hit mute since you can’t turn the volume off and it ignores your system volume. An unacceptable and extremely buggy experience. I have recommended other units to friends because of this issue. They say they’re fixing it based on other reviews, but I’ll believe it when I see it.

Thanks for fixing this issue. Notifications are working again! Seems to be ios 18 issue. Based on new reviews, Others have it too. Please fix. I see the recent notifications within the app, but they are not pushed. I have checked and fiddled with the iphone settings and app settings multiple times. I also deleted and reinstalled the app.

Update: developer was able to PARTIALLY fix the issue; notifications have retuned, but events are not being recorded. Willing to alter review is assistance from developer is made… I’ve had these baby monitors for less than 6 months, brand new, no connectivity issues, no hardware issues, but the app is no longer notifying me of movement/sound and it’s not recording anything as selected. I have already deleted and redownloaded the app. I have already made sure it’s up to date. I have already made sure my iPhone is up to date. I have disconnected and reconnected the cameras, syncing back to my phone appropriately. How do we fix this?? I need to see the notifications on my phone and I’d like the movement recorded, otherwise I might as well return the product for a 1998 VTech walkie talkie!

The push notifications stopped working this week. I already reset the device, deleted and reinstalled, and completely factory reset everything. Update: 10-14-2014 Received a response email that they fixed the problem. Thank you for following up, greatly appreciated.
