The lights are the best ‘smart’ ones we have used/tested. The app is a bit clunky but easy enough to navigate, however as technology improves, and telcos change it would be nice to have the option to update connection settings, (unless this is a hidden option somewhere?) I’m having to reset my lights and redo whole set up again anytime we have a change over of telco (not often) or connection device (regularly)

This used to be such a good app back in the days, now it's a mess. I don't understand why does loading... the... scenes... take... several... seconds... every.... time? Dear devs, ever heard about caching between network calls? Selecting a scene from the widget doesn't work at all. In fact selecting a scene can be a hit and miss in the app, too.

Ok running 15 LIFX lights and spent a few hours configuring them all, but after5 years I had to reset my modem and obviously all the devices. I have a total of 24 devices and all connected with ease but the LIFX wouldn’t access any existing locations and groups so I end up with 15 locations with the same name and similar with groups, I have searched for solutions and had no response from support. I worked it out in the end, the issue was onboarding. So I went back to the old wifi method and got it to work. To me it should be simple like Arlec Grid connect’s system

I have a 4 switch for a mix of lifx and standard bulbs. HomeKit broke so I tried to setup again. Now only the switch setup is shown in HomeKit but not the actual switch ( no longer able to setup separate widgets for each device). My smart switch got dumber.

Just doesn’t work… it constantly says that I haven’t finished setting up the lights and have only been able to get one light into the group.

Can’t believe how buggy the software is within this brand. The software team is either completely impotent or the company just ran out of money to further support or run the devices. Avoid this premium pricing smart garbage.

Frequently can’t connect to lights - or when it resets the light it defaults to ultra ultra white at night time so blinds and dazzles you. Beyond idiotic. Have owned for five years but technology updates offer nominal improvements - do not waste your money in this product. Also you will never ever EVER be able to get customer support. This is a classic case of buyer BEWARE!

Great lights once setup but the setup process is needlessly complex, particularly once you’ve changed WiFi networks or have thrown away the box etc. The fact is there are equivalent products on the market which are easier to set up and change, at the same price or cheaper.

Ios 18 has been out for a bit already. Beta has been out for ages and widget doesn't work. Nothing appears other than a toggle. I am on an iPhone mini 13 if it helps? Don't know if anyone else getting this.

I genuinely like the products, I legitimately cannot stand the app. It has the most terrible user experience. I think I’ve ever had. It literally makes absolutely zero sense in every way possible. I just don’t understand how they messed it up so badly. Super disappointing.
