Worst change they could have made. The new app makes me want to withdraw all my money and switch to another bank.
The developers don't seem to have idea on how to set functions for an app. Its like you keep sending pop ups to check out your new app only for the disastrous over design you have to show us. When old app just got perfectly stable and finally understandable you decided to cancel it out. Please just give us option to go back to out app in an update and also simple place to check our saving and all data. Not just consumer based marketing data.
Can I go back to the old app
In the same way as ENBD have ruined their app, Liv have now gone down the same path with this “X” version. Why don’t you listen to the thousands to reviews on both ENBD X and Liv X which have been provided by customers and allow up to download the old app again whilst you put some time and effort into developing an app which is actually an improvement on the previous one. It would be unsurprising if you lost a lot of customers due to this downgrade - I will be one of them!
I set up LIV to have accounts for my teenage daughters. It worked fine. Now LIV X, I can’t set up the Young Accounts, just says documents processing, click on the young account for update which just starts right back at the beginning. The old app was excellent. This is useless and no way to connect to anyone to help. Very frustrating
The new app is far too complicated and delayed. There is no confirmation alert and the text message to correspond is coming too late.
On this new app, when open the chat, the link there just redirect you to the old app. There’s no top up button too…
So hard to navigate and to find even my credit card balance. Can’t see a section for any of the card benefits like cashback……banking shouldn’t be this difficult
The new app is glitchy, poor layout, doesn’t always show correct balance in savings goals. And kids Liv young accounts are now not accessible. Very disappointed. Can’t get back into the old app now.
This is a poor experience.. may look nicer, but we relied on key features… debit card top up, phone to phone transfer, the kyc now needed for the young account .. but that doesn’t work anymore as your app is asking for visa page? There is no more visa page! This is 101.. A serious let down… causing major inconvenience. You cannot upgrade or update software and take away features? Why would you do that?? Honestly, looks like Mashreq Neo or WIO is the way to go… seriously disappointed
