This company is absolutely untrustworthy. They charged my account without my authorization, and I never received any service from them—I didn’t use anything of theirs whatsoever. I only found out about the unauthorized charge because my bank called me. I emailed them immediately on Sunday, January 26, the same day the money was taken from my account, requesting a refund. However, they told me they couldn’t return my money. I work hard every day to support my children, and it’s outrageous that this company thinks it has the right to take money from people without their consent. This is theft, plain and simple. I do not recommend this company to anyone—be cautious and avoid them at all costs.

I paid for a year membership for the service and the capsule upgrade. I ordered three outfits, and all three had a cancelled item, defeating the purpose of ordering the outfit. They emailed me and gave me a $50 credit and additional session to make up for it. Scheduled additional session (after being told the best available they had to “make it up” was 9:30 pm on a Sunday) and after waiting 20 minutes, no one showed on the LUMI stylist end. So, I missed out on 20 minutes of bedtime with my 4 yr old son (husband filled in so I could do this) to stare at a chat screen, hoping someone would show up. Great concept that very much missed the mark. The entire purpose of this service for me is curating full outfits, and when a key piece of each is unavailable after being chosen by the stylist (3 outfits, 3 missing pieces), it defeats the purpose.

This company does not stand behind their product. They lure you in with fake AI models and what you get after paying is nothing close to what they advertise. It’s false, false, false. And the 30 day money back guarantee is not at all a guarantee. They snatch $100-$150 from you before you can blink and even if you cancel within 30 minutes they will NOT refund. I believe they are fully aware their styles are not like the ad and only make money of baiting and switching. If I could give negative stars I would.

False advertising. Big scam. The ONLY reason I took the risk and signed was because of their 30-day money back guarantee. I cancelled within 30 mins of signing up but they said because of their policies I don’t qualify for the refund. There was no note or asterisk symbol next to indicate it only applied to certain conditions. Their marketing and sign up process is super deceptive, does not give you clear options to decline extras. Cannot support a company like this, based on marketing schemes to deceive customers! Very unsatisfied. I wish I read all these other 1 star reviews before I signed up, would have saved all this hassle. I don’t usually write reviews but felt compelled so that other people are aware the money back guarantee is a scam!!!

Beware, this app is a scam and they will continue to charge you even after you cancel. Extremely basic information on this app, so I canceled. Then many months later they charged me $49.99 for some annual fee. When I reached out, they told me that I had only cancelled one part and they've now canceled this other part, but that per their policy they would not give me a refund. That is such scam behavior that after I canceled, I somehow didn't fully cancel and they won't give me a refund for something I haven't used in months. I'm telling you, beware!!

Beware of the 7 day “free” Trial which charges your card immediately and then they have all these up-charges you can’t click out of.
