Mobile Link for Generators

This app is pointless as all I need to know from the app is available to me when I view the console on the generator. However, what would be useful is a function on the app that would allow me to place the Generac into standby so I don’t need to walk outside in bad weather, keys in hand to stop the Generac when it comes on early mornings waking the neighbourhood and wasting energy (gas) just to power my fridge and freezer. Seems so wasteful. Please have a new look at this app and make it useful, I would even pay something for that functionality.

Luckily I was warned when I purchased the generator that the app was junk. Begin the process through the app to link my generator to the app and it immediately diverted you to a clunky web browser. After going through the process of setting up an online account you are then required to register the device. All good so far, when registering the Generator it took several attempts to work but then you need to “subscribe” to a free package to get the generator linked… not a problem, only issue is that it won’t allow you to subscribe. Many attempts later and it’s a complete fail. May as well not have an app if you are going to force all your traffic through a web browser… sort it out!

Upgraded from old app, that was a mistake. This doesn’t work, doesn’t seem to allow you to complete the setup. You choose a subscription level and that’s as far as you get...fails 👎

Installed and it worked for one day. Now wants to setup again and doesn’t recognize my zip code preventing a login.

I did the battery inspection on my generator. But the app says I have to call my installer. Since there is no way to clear that notification I tried to delete the installer. That gives an App error. Which all goes nicely with the App error I get trying to download ANY manual. Then I tried to do In-App feedback. Which, you guessed it, gives an unknown error. Your app is kinda garbage.

The latest update to the app rendered it useless. The opening screen merely has a house diagram on it with no monitoring information and no ability to go to some other screen. The house diagram is the only thing to see now. Help!!

Used to tell me generator was ready to run, now it says status of generator unknown. Used to give information on warranty now shows nothing about it. What is the purpose of this app? It’s totally worthless. Used to recommend Generac generators to others, now I will recommend they buy from a more reputable company. This company is a true disappointment.

The application worked well prior to the recent update. I was able to see the status of the generator and monitor it’s use. Now, it’s useless and does not work at all.

This App was great. Now it opens the main screen and nothing else. Absolutely worthless until repaired.

The new app does not show last time connected status. Previous would show READY TO RUN and a time. That way you would know that status check is recent. This is still on web site interface. Frankly, the web site interface is better now and easier to use. Previous app version was good - new version is worse and missing information.
