MSC for Me

went on a 10 day cruise with MSC I wouldn’t recommend MSC to anyone It’s shocking how poor is their customer service … they have a horrible attitude when talking to them. The customer service desk doesn’t know how to deal with customers … they lied to us on a few occasions to send us away, there was a very nice gentleman from Bahrain and Honduras but the Italians and Brazilians were rude and arrogant on their responses. It seemed at times they went out of their way to make things more complicated - something other passengers agreed with. I even filed a formal complaint once toward an employee but then never got back to me … Food is similarly horrible … it’s quantity over quality … pizza was the only decent option, but you cannot just eat pizza for 10 days Service at the restaurants is also very slow … we even had to leave breakfast one day after 60min waiting to be served without eating anything because we were doing to miss our tours and dinner could take 2.5 hours to finalise … The tours are a real scam, and you cannot trust the MSC staff selling them … everyday you would hear people complaining about their tours at the counter… Also we paid for the internet in all the rooms and the speed was horrible … they charge quite a premium for a service it hardly worked for any of us. A few waiters were very nice, and housekeeping but overall it was a bad holiday because the daily treatment you receive from them … we befriended some other passengers and every single one of them had the same feedback than us … We have tried other cruises and they are much better AVOID MSC, I also read some reviews afterwards and they are pretty bad and most people tend to highlight the same things … poor service and arrogance … It’s like a low cost holiday with low cost service

This app is a must while staying on one of msc smart cruises its so helpful for booking (theatre shows, restaurants, spa, etc) any information you want to know about the cruise is available on the app and you can keep track of your payments and a lot more! It made my time on the cruise much easier.

I am trying to check in for the past one month with no hope .... the app is not responding when all the passengers are done with the security photo !!!!

We recently cruised with MSC - had a great time. The app was fairly easy to navigate, you can find what you need as well as make reservations. It needs a where to eat now feature so you know which restaurants are open without scrolling through each one. There should also be a quick feedback feature to give staff kudos or report an issue.

Required for your cruise but so difficult to find anything. Hours of venues? Have to go to the ship map. Search deck to deck to find your venue then click on it. Really? Several dead links. Impossible to find menus We love cruising with MSc but their technology including this app are nightmarish!

Doesn’t always work I've had to reboot my phone a bunch of times to reconnect it. Otherwise it would be great. I like the chat feature and that we can book shows and see our bill and charges right in the phone.

When checking in, you need to take a selfie. The camera is awful, it doesn’t detect when I am all compliant, it will take picture when my eyes are completed closed (while blinking), or it will take super blurry picture and the system thinks it’s acceptable.

The app works ok on the ship, but prior to the ship it has a lot of bugs.

Terrible food, usually cold when it should be hot or always running out. Bar drinks are watered down and take forever to receive. All seems to be by design. Went on a Mediterranean cruise with Norwegian Cruise Line and didn’t have these problems. I really don’t like to write a negative review but MCS needs to make improvements.
