Natural Cycles is more than a period tracker. Most other fertility tracking apps assume your cycle is 28 days long, even though 87% of women have cycle lengths that don't fit into the 28 day pattern... We understand that birth control is not a one-size-fits-all. Your cycle is unique to you! Our algorithm uses personalized temperature data to confirm your ovulation, reducing the risk of you being assigned an incorrect fertile day. Unlike period trackers, the NC° app allows you to identify your fertility status daily, so you can prevent pregnancy or plan for it with greater precision.
From contraception to planning pregnancy and every cycle in between – Natural Cycles is there for you with each stage of your fertility journey. Still not sure? Download the app and test out our Demo Mode. The app supports syncing with Apple Health.

Great App!

Been using this app for a while now trying to concieve, been TTC for over 12 months now. Since just using this app I have had 2 chemicals but none the less am catching my fertile cycle due to this app. Works wonders with Apple Watch to track BBT. Only thing I can think of that could be better is adding the option of digital ovulation tests/ appearance changes to make different colours. But overall a really great app😍

Great app

Very well done app and algorithm. I have been using it for years. It has made me even more aware of my cycle and I think if I were to change modes from contraception to conceiving, it feels great knowing when my most fertile days are.

I feel very duped by Natural Cycles. Notice how they don’t show you what thermometer you’re getting anywhere online. A few of months ago (early 2024) I purchased their thermometer. It looks on their website like it connects via Bluetooth to an app. It does not. It’s a very cheap thermometer. They sent my friend the same one. I thought, ‘that’s fine, I’ll give it a shot’ but now the battery has completely died. I went on to their website and the instructions for changing the Gen1 thermometer don’t match my thermometer at all… in face I’m almost certain you can’t change the battery in this one. Meanwhile it says on their website not to switch thermometers mid-cycle, so now I’m supposed to buy another even though I purchased this one and was under the impression it connected via Bluetooth and had a rechargeable battery? Oh and now data will be inaccurate! Yippee. Also, all over the website you’ll see smiling girls sitting up taking their temperature. This isn’t the case. You can’t sit up or the data is off. You can’t get out of bed within a couple of hours of waking up or the data is off. You can’t hit the snooze or the data is off. None of this was clear before I bought the thermometer and subscription. Again I just feel totally scammed and duped by the thermometer provided. I’m cancelling my subscription and moving to a different app and wearable thermometer/arm band. Save your money and don’t get sold a $2 thermometer.

Got pregnant first try!

I used the “Plan Pregnancy” mode fertility tracker combined with ovulation tests to try to get pregnant, and we were successful the first month we tried! Couldn’t believe it, didn’t even get a chance to kiss my soft cheese and deli meats goodbye. I really appreciated that it allowed me to take a scientific approach to maximise our chances. I was 34 at the time.

App is somewhat good but have its doubts

My cycles are irregular so it’s hard to pin point when I’ll actually get a period and I don’t ovulate so it’s annoying when the app tells me I may have ovulated on this or that day . With the BBT record I’m not sure if it’s even accurate. I track it by wearing my Apple watch to bed and it tracks my BBT but I also have a thermometer for BBT that I also use in my mouth which both give different readings so I’m not sure what is more reliable unfortunately.

Inaccurate

Inaccurate and expensive. You can get the same but better for free on fertility friend.

Terrible - automatically resubscribes

You have to pay $99.99 annually (which is great if it works for you). It didn’t suit me at all and I hadn’t used the device or app in over 8months and it resubscribed my annual fee with zero warning and now will not refund. Disappointed.

Time waster! Glitchy and unreliable.

I tried to transition my data from another app but it selected all my non period days as period days. I had to go in an adjust by tapping each day to unselect the day. Then to find out some days won’t let me unselect. After a good half an hour I managed to get most data off and started inputting the data manually. Once I input all the data, none of it saved! Then tried to do one month at a time and then it roared but with random days saying I had my period, tried to unselect and it won’t let me, just adds on an extra 3 days following that stubborn glitchy day. Wasted my time and energy. What a stupid app, I had high hopes.

I’ve been using NC for few years now and it has helped me gain a better understanding on my cycle. Love that you can share it with your partner who can follow along too. The insights and messages are informative and give you tips. I use an Oura ring to track my temp which syncs easily with NC. So much easier too than the thermometer. I recently switched it the trying to conceive mode which helped us fell pregnant. The pregnancy mode is also informative. Unfortunately we experienced a chemical pregnancy but NC has been supportive and understands that we may need some time and space to adjust. It’s a great tool for any woman wanting to gain a better understanding of her cycle.
