NETGEAR Nighthawk - WiFi App

Terrible. 1 year old and starting to get extremely unreliable. I can connect directly to my ISP router no problem. Via Nighthawk wifi mesh, however, drops out every few seconds. A reboot helps, then it starts again. No good, NetGear…no good.

I’ve got the latest and greatest of Netgear routers, and the app doesn’t let me change any meaningful settings… no wifi settings (channels, ssid, speed, nothing!), no USB settings, nothing available. You have to fall back to the web ui to change them. What’s the point of the app then?

Drives me crazy

Utter garbage. Tried for days but can’t even connect to my own device to troubleshoot issues with my ex7700 range extender. App uninstalled and range extended smashed to pieces. Netgear trash.

I can't use the app it won't let me login I think this app is broken and no update will fix it

Freezes on the last step, had to redo 3 times. Very hard to find the web setup option.

Best router ever used. Convenient to use and covers the entire home of 4 bedrooms and 2 living areas. Support staff are very friendly and courteous.

Bought a Nighthawk rx200 and can’t even use WhatsApp which is imperative since we don’t have a signal from the phone tower. I have now wasted over a day without any success.

Bought wifi extender. Must download app to use. Error message when trying to download from App Store “unable to install nighthawk” I have latest iPhone version etc. useless if you can’t download app.

The Netgear Nighthawk RAX70 has exceeded my expectations. It’s a robust, high-performance router that has improved my internet experience significantly. If you’re willing to invest in a top-tier router and need excellent speed and coverage, the RAX70 is a fantastic choice. It’s been a worthwhile upgrade for me, and I’m confident it will continue to meet my needs for years to come.
