i genuinely cannot live without this software
It's an excellent project to help writers write their thoughts in a professional way with more than a thousand plugin. However, it's an important app for everyone. You can find it in many operating systems not only in the ios.
اللغة العربية من اللغات الاكثر شيوعا. حتى بعد الكتابة بها، لا تظهر بشكل جميل بهذا البرنامج.
The sync on this app is unbelievably flaky, even using their in-house sync service. At $5 a month, I would expect rock solid sync. If i were the PMO on this project, all development would stop until the sync engine is re-written from the ground up. Once users lose faith in the integrity of their precious information, it’s not long before they move to greener pastures.
Literally was deleting the content of my notes as I was typing them. Highly untrustworthy if you care about losing what you’re writing.
I really like obsidian because of some of the extra features like if you said 400+600 it will automatically enter 1000 if you put and equals at the end and the fact that you can put 2 dashes and it will make a folder I love this app
absolutely amazing! I use this to plan & keep track of my characters. I use the PC windows version more than this. The plug-ins and graph feature absolutely saved my life. I had so many characters and their complex relationships were starting to overwhelm me. Thank you so much for existing
I came here to write a review about how much I appreciate Obsidian now that I’ve been forced to use OneNote at work and I see basic functionality (tags specifically) don’t work for them! With obsidian I create empty notes in a hashtag folder and use links. It works seamlessly and with a topology map to boot. OneNote is really lackluster, even missing the daily notes option really misses those touches that one of a kind user experience. Obsidian’s mobile app is one of the most sophisticated mobile apps you will ever see, with working plugins, a working command palette, and versatile UI/UX options. The option of Obsidian sync is worth the money it is basically flawless.
The app is powerful and incredibly useful IF you take the time to work with it and read a bit. If you do not, it’s rather bland and might not be worth the beginning hurdle for most people that ALREADY have a favorite note taking app. The documentation exists for those that want to dive deeper and plug-ins and a community exists for those that want very extensive customization. This is essentially the Linux of note taking from what I’ve used. There are so many note taking apps and so many systems that might work better than Obsidian for a many people. I’ve only had issues with editing text on mobile (it’s cumbersome) and wish that you sync also applied to plug-ins (from what I’ve used - you must manually enable everything on both mobile and desktop). I like having options and control over my data and how I organize my life and take notes. Obsidian lets me do that.
Please fix table duplication/corruption, add mobile push notifications, otherwise best app ever. Thanks so much.
