Ola: Book Cab, Auto, Bike Taxi

I’m not even going to mention the hundreds of notifications that Ola feels like they can send you as advertisements and promos, what really irked me is the Chief Executives shallow statement surrounding home working and his attitude towards employees. I have nothing to do with Ola but have spent a bunch of money with them over the years, but I’m finally saying goodbye. Corporations that refuse to care for people should not survive.

There is a serious attitude problem with auto drivers. I don‘t know if Ola pays them for the distance to pick up the customer so the auto drivers are misusing it. It shows 5 mins waiting time, the customer keeps waiting, and then when they are nearby, they cancel. Either fix your auto driver‘s attitude or charge the drivers for cancelling the ride just like you charge the customers. Pay your customer for the cancellation be drivers just like you take money from the customer for cancellation.

A food order I never received was marked delivered. Unresponsive delivery partner, non-existent customer support. Should really just focus on cabs and leave the food delivery to the actual pros. Pathetic is an understatement.

i had an awful experience with ola over 2 months ago, the driver decided he would cancel my booking because he wouldn’t come to my friends address, leaving me to walk home drunk on a two hour long walk… sent a complaint email because the ‘customer service’ on the phone were useless and said this was the best way, and still to this day have never received even an acknowledgement !! don’t really know why no one wants to reply, probably embarrassed what a load of rubbish their cab app is, with rude staff. anyway just if you’re looking for a trustworthy cab service, don’t use ola, biggest rip of load of rubbish i’ve ever paid for, and i had paid a lot to them over the years before this happened, now they’ve BANNED me for using the app, just says ‘not available in your area’

The trip has no security. The driver can cancel trip at any time and kidnap you on the way. No way to contact customer support.

I would not recommend this app to anyone. Worse app I’ve ever used. I used this app to book a trip for 4am. The trip was confirmed the evening before. I was woken up by the driver calling me at 2:30 asking what time to pick up and where I was despite putting all these details into the app and the trip being confirmed the prior which was really annoying considering it was an early start anyway. He then called again about 10 minutes later asking the same questions. At 0400 we went outside, the cab driver was asleep in his car, I had to call him to wake him up. The driver once again asked where we were going, I told him again, he then told us to cancel the trip and book direct. Repeatedly telling us to cancel the booking. I told him I did not understand, he called someone else who just repeated the same words ‘cancel booking, book direct, commission’. I told them both I was not happy to do this as had a booking so did not understand why I had to cancel it to be driven to my location. The driver then cancelled the booking and refused to take us. No reason given other than he didn’t want to do the drive. Really disappointed and disgusted at the attitude of the driver as this has meant we were unusable to visit the Tiger Reserve and lost out of money from not being able to get to our location. All the details were put into the app when booking so why confirm the trip if your not happy to do it. No customer service or chance to rate the drivers either. Felt very unsafe the whole time. Highly recommend Uber which I have never had any issues with, much easier booking system with efficient and polite drivers. The drivers on this app seem very sketchy and no background checks. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The app stopped working this morning and I keep getting a message that Ola server cannot be reached. No support to help with correcting this error

Absolutely not reliable I am standing in the cold for 15 minutes, couldn’t even connect me with a driver!

I took an auto on 2.11.23 from dollars colony to city civil courts at 9.45 am. The charge was Rs 163 but the driver demanded 250 and I paid Rs 225. But I couldn’t report to Ola as there is no choice in there complaint page and I keep getting the message they charges were correct, but there is no way I could complain that the driver Ravi demanded and took Rs 50 more!!!!
