I enjoyed using the app initially, but was automatically charged after a week without consent. Despite canceling and being promised a one-year subscription as compensation, I’ve received no further communication. Multiple follow-up emails have gone unanswered. While the app’s features are good, the customer service experience has been very disappointing. I hope they address these issues promptly.
I am really disappointed that I agreed to 7 days trial and I can’t cancel the trial even after repeated emails . Be aware before using this app ; policy is not transparent.
Please do not use this app. I lost money when tried to subscribe for trial, and you will be pushed to make payments
I joined today and just joining and knowing I have guidance has really put a pep in my step. It will be very interesting to see how many calories I actually eat everyday
I did not understand that there would NOT be a food and exercise plan with a one week plan unless I upgraded- at least I cannot find a section that shows a day to day. Or any plan. When I click on it it asks me to pay more money- Boo. Cancelled. Losing hope in all these click bait apps.
Down side to this app, is if you develop an injury. I slipped in snow 1/6/25, broke my ankle. Surgery 1/10/25 and I have to be non- weight bearing for 8-12 weeks. I got charged renewal, but other than logging meals and beverages, it’s wasted on me.
Do not sign up for this. You will be scammed into an automatic renewal with no warning. Automated customer service responses.
Omo is easy to use, has great reminders and the characters are fun!
I was content with this app until I needed customer service for a refund. They charged my account over $10 more than my subscription called for. After sending in a refund request I get an email from customer service saying they’ve cancelled my account!!! I check my bank account and they proceeded to charge me 4 extra times!! Now I’ve lost all of my progress and info on the app unexpectedly while trying to dispute 5 completely random charges! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS APP!
The app was pointless and unhelpful. I never used it once after subscribing. I actually forgot about it entirely and never redownloaded it on my new phone and somehow it didn’t show up in my purchase subscription apps under my apple acct. I check this often to make sure I know what I’m purchasing. The other day, a &39 charge appeared on my CC from a company called Actitiech and I had no idea what it was. We were doing all this research to try to figure it out. Finally I get an email from Omo. Honestly I still didn’t remember what it was- so totally unmemorable. They advertised themselves as a weight loss drug then wound up being some weigh loss monitoring tool. Anyway, I went to cancel (the DAY of the charge) and request a reimbursement since the year didn’t even begin. The drop down menu even had an option for a reimbursement request (which I assume is legally required) that said “I didn’t know the subscription auto renewed” so I figured this would be a simple process. I even explained that I never used the app once the year before either but I just want to be reimbursed for the upcoming year’s charge. But no, not so simple. They emailed me back and said I wouldn’t get a reimbursement, but lucky me, i get access to their app that I didn’t use all last year and have no plans to use ever for a full year! Sleazy, unethical business practices. Companies like this just need to disappear.
