Still new to the app but…
Paid for premium; Can’t eliminate foods you don’t want suggested in recipes and you can’t create your own recipes. Should’ve stayed with Fitness pal, but I’m committed now that I paid for it :/

Apples needs to remove this app from their store. They will charge you without authorization and you cannot contact them. Will have to go through your back to block their charges. This should be illegal and apple needs to remove this app immediately to protect consumers data and possibly national security.
I wanted to try out Omo and paid the app fee for a month. As I was clicking through just to get to the main screen and download the app there were multiple pop up screens trying to get you to add on extras for more money. I thought I had said no to all of them until I had a $24.99 change on my card a few days later that I couldn’t figure out. I contacted their customer service and we have gone back and forth for over a week and they refuse to refund me due to their ‘very specific policies.’ I’m shook at how they handled this. It’s one thing to have policies but another to completely disregard a non standard system situation if you are a customer focused* company rather than just money hungry.
Pros: I like the front page with a simple list of things I need to accomplish for the day. The classes have good information but aren’t anything you probably don’t know. I like the hydration part that you can add different kinds of fluids that affect the body in different ways and also adds the calorie count to your daily intake. I like the fasting tracker where you can see what your body is doing at different points during your fast. This helps keep me motivated. Cons: the food tracker still needs a lot of work. I’ve started cooking a lot of my meals and making sauces and dressings myself to avoid added sugar, salt and additives. There needs to be a way to add recipes. The options right now are very time consuming. The scan meal option works okay but doesn’t account for anything added to the food. Also, what if I don’t finish a meal? No way to account for that either. I would also like to see them pull more info from Health than just weight and steps. Body fat, etc. The app is very expensive once the trial is over and does not even include the exercise portion. As I said above, the classes are pretty basic. Given the high cost for the app, I don’t think the pros outweigh the cons. I have read issues with customer service, but I haven’t personally had to contact them. I would not continue to use this app beyond the trial.
Please stop interupting me when im trying to use your app! Too many requests for data from you!!!!
It is simple to use, the daily information given strengthens commitments to the dieting, the exercise is good to with the 7 minutes daily and 15 minutes every other day. I (22m) went from 225 to 180 in 4 months. I did the fasting, dieting, and also threw in benching/curling every other day and 30 minutes on the olyptical. There were days I cheated/slipped up, but if you stay consistent and just keep putting in the work it is worth it.
I paid $25.99 on April 9, 2024 for this app, on April 12,2024 I upgraded to Premium for $36.00. I still got emails and messages to upgrade to Premium even though I already had. Now the app has shut me out unless I agree to pay another $4.99/mo. This seems like a ‘bait and switch’ tactic. I emailed the companies and got no response (I’ve waited a week before posting review). Too bad, but I will have to find a different app for my food tracking and work outs. I hear My Fitness Pal is good.
The app took my payment and then crashed.
I got the premium bundle which included the exercise and meal plan. I am allergic to dairy, wheat, and soy, however this app does NOT consider these allergies to remove from the meal like other wellness apps do. Sure you can change your type of diet to vegan, but I’m not a vegan. Sure I can sift through tons of recipes to find some that don’t contain my allergies, or just remove them. But I can’t use the meal plan because every meal has an ingredient I can’t eat. I asked for a refund, even a partial refund, for the additional items, but of course they will not give me a refund. It’s not about the money, but that I didn’t get what I expected to get.
Cannot log in. Takes me to another screen to repurchase the program. I cannot access the program. Rip off!
