This app is rubbish. You try log in and it doesn’t do anything.

This app lets you change some of the settings on your heat pump and see some basic usage information. It doesn’t let you change things like the hot water set points - you have to go to the controller to do that - and the power consumption details are vague and just got worse after the latest update.

and need complete reinstall. Support form doesn’t work on safari. One is definitely not always in control with this app

I can’t set my temperature schedule in 0.5* increments. I want to schedule 19.5, but I can only do 19 or 20.

This app is quite poor. It only tells me the current temperature in my tank, and the temperature at the thermostat. It would be very good to be able to see the history of these values so I can see the tank and the house heating and cooling. Other apps I have seen also include in that history the periods of hen the heat pump was operating - this would be good too. Through the insights page I can see estimates of my energy consumption over the last day, week, month and year. But I only get the last of each of these. So if I look at last month, say, I can’t see the week by week or day by day break down. This would be good to be able to see. The boost option for the hot water is called “powerful” - an unusual use of this word. “Boost” or “override” would be more accurate and typical. Please improve this app.

I have been pleased with it so far. Responds well apart from hot water temperature which takes far too long to catch up.

When comparing the energy I cannot go back last month from January 2025 to December 2024, why cannot see by the years?

When setting temperatures via the app, it can only be done in whole numbers. I can’t set the target temperature of the house to be 18.5 degrees, for example. It has to be 18 or 19. Which is INSANE because you CAN on the device interface at the house. Just not the app. Same applies to any Schedules you set up, has to be whole numbers. And talking of schedules, there is also very little granular detail on choosing times to schedule. I can’t set the water tank to come on at 5.45am for example. The options are in blocks of 10 minutes. So I can choose 5.40 or 5.50. Just not anything in between!! And even though you can laboriously rename a schedule using the device interface by the water tank, you cannot rename them via the app. THIS IS STUPID. As a user experience, this is crazy. Trying to align our usual lifestyle to the app is impossible. The times we get up, the times we want hot water, the exact temperature we’d like. Update the app to the same level of control we have in the device! Imagine if Apple said you couldn’t give calendar entries a title, or that to control your headphone volume could only be in blocks of 10.

I got logged out and when I logged back in again my household I owned was gone. Also the same for the developer portal. My dev credentials can still access my heat pump though.

This app has a limited to only 4 time to set the hot water, at the same time if we make a longer window it will not reheat the water during that time. So, technical you need to set 2times off the hot water heating. So, we can able to heat the hot water only twice a day, this is not much helpful for a high water user. Not sure why DAIKIN is not increasing hearing the hot water timings in an app/controllers. At least 3rd party app should do something here.
