I am a kagi customer I wanted a browser with kagi as default search engine so I tried Orion. Sadly, even the most basic stuff isn’t working. Swiping left / right from the edge of the screen doesn’t work on most website. The irony is that it doesn’t even works on their own website to report bug orionfeedback.org. You try to swipe and instead it will be caught by the website javascript instead of going back or forward (you can see the cells of the forum topic being swiped). You are supposed to NOT transmit the gesture to the website folks when coming from the edge. Something at Safari got right since v1 then I set the swipe down gesture in the toolbar to close the current tab. And as expected, it doesn’t work either. It’s a touch device folks and you don’t know how to reliably handle touch events? You expect to succeed with this? iPadOS: tap tabs button, close all, crashs. Great developers and QA you got...

Enfin un navigateur qui tient ses promesses. Rapidité, respect vie privée…

I've been using Kagi as my primary platform for web searches and nearly all my AI-stuff for almost a year now, and Orion provides the best mobile experience for accessing Kagi's capabilities. *By AI-stuff I mean: - Quick answer based on search results - deeper discussion about a specific web page - video/podcast/article summarization (💪 works even when specialized GPTs on ChatGPT don’t) - Translation (quite new but already better than DeepL for context comprehension – even if DeepL is still above on UI/UX right now) - [Ultimate Plan] full AI Assistants, where I can use any big LLMs that I want, from Anthropic (🥇 right now), OpenAI, Google (🤷‍♂️), Meta (Llama) and Mistral (🇫🇷)

Navigateur très fluide avec support des extensions Chrome et Firefox. Pour ma part, j'ai installé uBlock Origin depuis le store Firefox et ça marche parfaitement, rien à redire 👌 Merci aux devs d'avoir rendu le support de vraies extensions navigateur possible sur iOS 🙏

Very promising browser with an incredible UI and lots of settings. Extensions support is a big plus. But the app still lacks history syncing with the mac version. This is the only feature I need to move to using it as my main browser. This is a very basic feature available on most browsers : Safari, Firefox, Chrome or Opera. So I really hope it is planned

Très bon navigateur, simple d’utilisation, ergonomique. L’idée des extensions est super ! Mais… il faut bien un mais. Celle ci n’est pas au point malheureusement, on peut en installer oui, mais pas sur qu’elle fonctionne. Exemple avec Ublock Origin, l’extension s’installe mais ne fonctionne pas, rien n’est bloqué. Ça fait perdre malheureusement beaucoup d’attraits au navigateur.. Pour moi dès que ce problème sera résolu, ça en fera un des meilleurs navigateurs iOS parce que les pubs c’est vraiment un calvaire sur l’iPhone..

Il y a trop de bugs !

In short, the best browser on iOS period.

Très bien pendant quelques jours puis, d’un seul coup, ne fonctionne plus du tout sur mon iPad Pro.
