Messy rollout; lack of support
First day someone parked in my assigned spot; I tried to find another spot, the only option to reserve another spot was to PAY ADDITIONAL MONEY when I did nothing wrong, and have to move to a less convenient space.

Ahh yess another poorly functioning third party app required by building management to pass the buck and make tenants lives more difficult and costly. Unnecessary massive amount of glitches. Email support not helpful when you’re n a garage needing urgent support. Response to developer- I’d be happy to use up more of my free time to support your monetary gains if I receive a month free of the exorbitantly priced monthly tenant parking.
My apartment in Cincinnati uses this app for our parking. My building is right next to the Bengals stadium and i am never parked in my spot on weekends, so I rent it out to other people. On the day of Bengals games, the app will charge 600% more than the hourly rate i set for my spot. I’m assuming it’s the company recognizing high demand for parking on game day and deciding that they can profit off someone renting my spot at a ridiculously higher price than i charge. No one is going to rent my spot now because they have made it insanely expensive, and i am assuming they would keep every dollar of that automatically applied markup even if someone DID rent it. Extremely disappointed.
Stationhouse should never have gotten it. -upset tenant
The recurring charge system is very flawed and does not give you an option to use an alternate payment should the default payment fail. While customer service responds, it can sometimes take awhile to get it to where one is able to make the payment.
towed my car that was in a HANDICAP space and charged me $400 to get it back. EDIT: Parkade replied to my review telling me that my car was illegally parked and did not have a handicapped placard and to review the law. Funny because it actually DID indeed have a handicapped placard on it! You towed a handicapped persons car with no remorse and are now lying to make your shady company seem better. PLEASE save yourself the trouble and NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.
One of the biggest cons about living in my current building is that they contracted with this stupid app for resident and guest parking. I always follow procedures to book for my guests and honor the parking times and recently, my guest overstayed by accident (they ONLY email your parking expiration reminder, text not available - SHADY). We had to rebook twice due to other people not following reserving procedures/overstaying and they charged us $15 late fee when the car was moved and rebooked in another spot within 10 minutes of the second email that was sent. I kindly asked for grace given that Im a resident and had to rebook this guest twice in a garage with horrible service and you have to basically snitch (take a photo of the car in the spot you booked and enter their license plate). They wouldnt budge and told me that $15 is a reduced late fee for residents because it’s usually $30. It’s ridiculous! I hope my building doesnt renew their deal with them.
Bad customer service, people will park in the spot you paid for with no enforcement, and the app barely works. Stay away!
If you’re moving to a building that uses Parkade…RECONSIDER. They have no control over parking, they recently added fees for debit and credit card and the prices to cancel your account is not straight forward. Parkade issues were the #2 issue I chose to leave my apt and find a new place to live. Yep the parking situation ran me out of the building. Their customer service is just as bad as the setup. You can’t talk to anyone on the phone and the responses I got via email over the 13 months were not customer service friendly at all. Sass and excuses.
