Pebblebee App

Sans batterie, ça ne fonctionne pas.

I was excited to use it. Except when I turned it on it beeped VERY loudly and high pitched. It won’t connect to my device and I cannot stop the beeping. There are no off buttons and the app does not give instructions. I might have to destroy the device with a hammer or else I’ll loose my hearing

I purchased four of the Found LTE devices as a backer of Pebblebee when they were crowd funding the first devices. It took much longer than anticipated to get the devices, but stuff happens; that’s not the real problem. In the intervening time between backing Pebblebee for the Found LTE and actually receiving them, AirTags became a thing. They work better and are more reliable due to the size of the Find My network. In the end, I decided not to continue the Premium subscription on two of the four Found LTE devices I own, because it’s simply not worth the money. This is when my problems started. Unlike just about any other product on the market with a recurring subscription, to cancel the Pebblebee one I had to reach out to customer service. There’s no way to cancel online or in the app. The service agent was very nice, but had to pass the cancellation on to a completely different team I never got to speak directly with at any time. I got an email back confirming my renewal had been cancelled and would not be processed. Perfect. Then renewal day came, and I was charged for both subscriptions. I reached out immediately, and got a reply saying there was a “glitch” in the system. Basically, code for “someone forgot to process the cancellation”, despite me being told in writing it was done. Several emails and a few weeks later, I do have a refund. Unfortunately, because the charges are in USD, but being a Canadian all my banking is in CAD, I’m left holding the bag for Pebblebee’s “glitch” in the form of Forex Fees I have paid. I ended up out several dollars on each subscription renewal; I paid something for nothing. Is it going to break my bank account? No. Would I recommend anyone else deal with this company and its associated headaches? Also no. If there wasn’t a better solution on the market, that’d be a different situation. The fact is, Apple AirTags are simply better than this Pebblebee solution, and Apple isn’t made up of people hacking things together and making financial mistakes which cost their customers money. Do yourself a favour. Stick with AirTags.

When you set it up, it works well. Since I bought it, I needed it twice. Both times, it did not work. The first time, the battery of the Pebblebee was dead. No warning was sent to my phone to change batteries. The second time, I opened the app and had to relogin to find out that my devices were not paired to my phone anymore. I never received any warning of this. Pebblebee need to fix the *** together to make this device useful.

Keep your money ... does not work!

This app, and associated product are a waste of time and money. The app disconnects from the fob whenever it feels like it, meaning it always disconnected when I attempted to look for my keys, and the battery went dead within 2 weeks of purchase further rendering the whole lot absolutely useless.

Bluetooth range is the worst. Wont even go beyond a room..

It worked great as expected. My only comment on it is when app installed on a 2nd phone and try to call that 2nd phone from the device it doesn’t make the call to find it.

It was awesome yayeet I loved how loud it was and it doesn’t turn on in the middle of the night like others claimed it really works as long as your keys are within 25 feet Of you it doesn’t start the alarm, got for Christmas awesome but pebblebee needs to make smaller ones so I can put it in my phone case and have it louder for phone case use thx yyyyyyaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeettttttt!!!!!!!!!!!! Great concept but executed horribly from app design to functionality.
