Pestle: Recipe Manager

Great user experience and excellent importing functionality. Really worth getting if you save recipes on Instagram or online and need one central place to keep them. Allows user to scale or convert units from metric to imperial. Just brilliant!

I’ve tried other apps for recipes but pestle is by far the best. My wife and I both use it and it makes cooking new meals so easy. Highly recommend.

This is honestly one of the best apps I’ve ever used. Fair play Will and team. Have added loads of different recipes from different sources and it’s just so easy to view/use. This is game changer!

I don’t normally write reviews for apps but this one is rly great. I’ve been using it almost daily for a few years now and it’s super helpful. Haven’t had any issues with it. Highly recommend.

Update: 5 stars and wish I could give 10! The developer (this is a one-man show!) reached out and found the issue. The fix took less than a minute, everything is restored and I’m back to cooking my favorite rrcipes! This is a fantastic app and I look forward to using it for years to come. Thanks Will! Original review: I was one of the original users when the app first became available and as such the cost was for a lifetime of use. I recommended it to many people, all of whom loved it. While it’s been awhile since I used it, but when I opened it today to find all but 1 of my nearly 100 recipes gone and the message that the “free” version only allows me to save 15 recipes! I loved this app but now find it not only useless but need to figure out where I got those missing recipes and print them as I can’t rely on this app to save them! What happened?!

Love the app three only thing is I wish they would really enhance the shopping list. Maybe add the ability to add pictures to the name of the item on the list, maybe ability to add store name where we purchase the item, obviously the quantity, and maybe it labels the items in terms of dairy, bread, pasta etc. Then I can give it that five star review

The only recipe app I’m using and that I’m never deleting. Updates come often, sometimes really big updates that add amazing features (such as the recent ‘import recipe from instagram’ feature). If you collect a lot of recipes from all corners of the internet, like a hands free experience while cooking, want to scale recipes, edit recipes, write your own recipes, then this is the app for you. And if there happens to be a bug, you can be sure that it’ll be fixed. I’m impressed with this developer!

Pestle has been my go to app for storing recipes since 2022 and it just keeps getting better and better. The ability to add from instagram is clutch!

And deleted all my recipes, logging into my account doesn’t bring anything back
