Bought the pro version in order to share the recipes with my family, but turns out each member of my family needs to buy the pro version to join my household ??? I feel a bit scammed. Unfortunately, i will not be using the app anymore, although promising. I will stick to the good old fashioned way of documenting my recipes on google docs.

It is very easy to work with, just go on a website with a recipe and press the pestle button (also on other devices). Pestle collects the ingredients, steps, image and a lot of other information about the recipe (cuisine, servings, time, etc.) Not only works perfectly for english recipes but others like German, Italian or French as well! The meal plan is very handy as well and comes with a widget for your homescreen. The two features I’m missing: — The app collects recipes with dish categories like ‘desserts’ or ‘main’ - now not every body uses the same words (‘dessert’, ‘patisserie’) or has a need for a ‘small snacks’ categorie. To merge categories and keep the keywords would be great, like that it would sort ‘Süssspeise’ into ‘desserts’ as well. — I like the list of the recipes with the pictures very much. But with my grand collection it would be handier to always start with categories or cuisines, before recipes.

Wirklich geniale und visuell sehr ansprechende App! Hat alle Funktionen, die ich benötige und ist wirkliche einfach cool - macht sehr viel Spass! Danke an den Entwickler!

This is an almost perfect app. Unfortunately there is no Mac app (yet). While the iOS version starts on the Mac (thanks to Apple Silicon), it crashes when using the audio command feature or the send shopping list to reminder function.

Nice App, but is it planned to Add Ingredients from Recipes directly to the shopping list?

A lot of thought went into the selection of tools you can use to document your recipes. Although there persists a bug that, always when you edit a recipe, somehow halfs the serving amount that you saved. So when you quickly edit it, save it, edit it again, practically changes the serving amount on its own! I hope this bug will be fixed soon

Basically Great App to organzie recipies. However, since new release App won‘t work. Constant breakdown when opening a recipes. Not acceptable for CHF 37!!!

Absurdly priced. There’s no reason to pay so much for a scrap book of recipes. Removed.

Saw it on 9to5 and was intrigued. Checked three of my most notorious and stupidly layouted recipes, and voilà, Pestle perfectly captured them. Just wow. Two things would be nice: sharing of content with another person (not by copying, but the actual saved data with modification synchronisation) and easier editing of steps. When I want to break one step into four, it‘s doable, but a pain.

Wow! That’s one word comes to my mind. Blown away by how good this app works; have tried it with 5 to 6 different sources and every time It worked very well. One thing to add to your backlog, we are using family sharing hence my wife as well on boarded (which works perfectly fine as well); however would love to have a folder or two sync between our accounts. For now we are just sharing the link via text and re-adding it to Pestle.
