Planta: Complete Plant Care

unfortunately this app isn’t helping me , neither my plants . At the beginning I was hopping that it would be amazing , I pay for the app , follow all the schedule and tips , but some of my plants are in a bad situation and it’s really sad to see them so weak . It’s not fair that this app ask money for a so bad service .

Paguei por esta app para me ajudar a tratar das plantas que tinha a morrer. Ora quando comecei a tentar usar, não encontrei essa funcionalidade. Informaram-me que tinha de instalar uma funcionalidade de teste, ou seja ainda nem testado está. Depois de instalado, as perguntas que fazem são tão genéricas que quase sou eu a dizer as razões pelas quais eu acho que a planta está doente e não é a app a identificar através da fotografia, como o anúncio nos leva a crer. Estou muito frustrada de ter gasto este dinheiro.

plant identification never worked for me, too many bugs on the app, filtering does not work when you select plant size and also keeps recommending plants not suited for the sites. also, community is not available, even being a premium user. terribly disappointed to have subscribed for 1 year.

I’ve been using this app for almost three years now, free plan. I wish that was an option for paying for the full app only once. I don’t like subscriptions

When will dr. Planta be available for other countries? One of the reasons I chose Planta was for Dr. Planta, and only after payment I got the information that Dr Planta is only available for all users!!!! I am feeling deceived…

I really like this app but it's too expensive. Also, it doesn't offer a free trial, which makes you choose between spending 10€ in a month to try, 40€ for a 12/mo subscription or 20€ for 3 mos. I ended up choosing to watch YouTube videos.

The app is really nice, provides nice alerts and schedules notifications for you to take good care of your plants. On the other hand, the free version only includes watering alerts, and the paid versions is a damn subscription. Who pays for a subscription like that? If it was a one time purchase I would definitely think about it, but there is not enough usage for the €20 yearly they ask for.

I’ve struggled to keep plants alive but this app has helped a lot. I’d love a feature that would adjust my plants’ schedule based on vacation or being out of town. And give suggestions of what tasks can be postponed vs the plants that cannot go without care.

My top gripes are that you can’t log temperatures and humidity, you can’t add your own illnesses you have to use dr.planta, and you can’t make more customizable schedules. As an obsessive plant parent I would really like to be able to see data about my plant. It would be helpful for me to know specifically how wet the soils stays and what temperatures and humidity the plant seems to be thriving in. A more growth assisting app would be so helpful. I want more than just a basic reminder app. I think AI could probably help a lot to make a more informative and effective app that is not so restrictive!
