Just select the cities, regions, or even whole countries you want to download, and it will be available for offline use, complete with information on thousands of POIs (Points of Interest), and optionally, topographic maps, travel guides and Wikipedia articles.

Don’t forget this:
1. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Only the GPS Route Navigation and GPS Track Recording features will use the GPS when running in background.
2. This app uses data from the amazing community driven open mapping project called openstreetmap.org! Coverage detail may vary by region, please visit our website to check the map detail for your regions of interest.
3. Does not currently support all asian texts on the map (Chinese, Japanese, etc).

Abandonware
PocketEarth was superb for a long time, and the app is still functional, but OSM updates are now very infrequent, app updates are incredibly rare, and GeoMagik's support forum is totally abandoned to spam. RIP.
So glad this is being updated
One of my most used navigation apps - so glad the devs are still actively updating it.
Ballooning with pocket earth
I frequently fly across the whole of Europe and the uk in hot air balloons. Using pocket earth in my retrieve vehicle and pocket earth on my phone combined with what three words I have an unbeatable way of never loosing touch with my retrieve vehicle wherever I am in the world
Easy to read Map
Excellent mapping for cycletouring. Names and contours are rendered very clearly. The location information is a little out of date, because not enough of us are updating Wikitravel and Open Street Map!

Love the app it’s great for giving you the coordinates of shops restaurants parking and fuel etc

I have been a fond user for nearly two years on this app now and it has never gone to dissatisfaction. It’s got EVERYTHING ON IT. And I mean everything. It was worth the £7.99 buy
First impressions
Looks like it is going to do the business. A bit of work to fathom out the workings but quite easy once handled.
Superb for cycling
This app really shines when you go off the beaten path. The mapping has great detail and the downloadable content is very data efficient. All I would ask is that elevation profile data is included in the routing information. If it had that it would be perfect. Bought the Pro version and one of the best app purchases I’ve made.
Nice clean map with handy travel info
I was looking for an offline map app and was recommended by friend. Very nice clean map with routing as well as travel info - a great bundle, even purchased world wide.
