The game is glitchy as hell, it glitches in the middle of a battle and you lose points even though it’s not your fault. It should really have a mechanism which catches when the battle was over because of the game issues, and compensate the ladder points. Plus, the game consumes an absurd amount of battery + it overheats the phone.
Most of the time, it dosn’t work.
Lost 7-8 times in a few days simply because you had an error which made me unable to do any actions at all
I log in my apple, dosent work, change password, installed AND NOW MAKE A POKEMON ACCOUNT? HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SIGN UP!? (Didn’t even try the game but my expirience is ruined)
The game consumed an enormous amount of battery and there is no setting to chance it to a lower or less demanding resolution. It heats up the device to an almost uncomfortable level. The game needs a lot off work but it still is fun.

I would adore this and play it more if it had nearly the same amount of effort that pocket has developed. Playable, but ranked gets irritating when I lose games due to bugs in me being unable to play cards or screen glitching or server crashing… Pocket is simpler but it got me back into the standard TCG and I just wish they would invest a little more into this market now that everything is booming and card sales/demand is at an all time high…. Competitive scene would see an increase and so would this apps usage.
They pick the worst times to update this game. In the middle of the day when people are in matches. I’ve had this happen multiple times since I’ve gotten the app. Every time so close to a victory an the app freezes an states reconnecting and then you get an update message; and it kicks you out. Honestly wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.
Sure, this was a port and it’s a great port, but IRL gameplay AND current gameplay suffer from so many intricacies that you seemingly can’t win with a starter deck the game gives you. One time even all 6 of my prize cards were energy cards, and even got to face down a dev (don’t know, but sure seemed like it) over my 0-5 loss streak off of my first time playing. Even with that other Pokémon card game that had dumbed things down to a rock, this is the least fun card game of any kind I have played. Literally no skill is involved, just money.
As long as you either already KNOW or READ UP on the trading card game you will LOVE this game!!!!
