I have a relatively newer device and yet this game always overheats my phone the game is nice but I really don’t like the fact that it overheats my device for just loading up the game

Nice

It’s come a long way since I first started playing this. It only freezes every once in a while but it’s a big improvement and the game is a lot of fun just a couple of bugs when it comes to using some supporter cards but for the most part awesome game I still give it a five star rating because it teaches you how to play pretty well.

this is more for the players

Crashes a LOT

I love this game. The UI and graphics are slick. Problem? The game crashes a LOT since the update before the last one (1 on 6 games these days). No discernible cause. It'll just randomly kick you out of your game and then it logs you out so you have to sign in again. Absolutely infuriating. Stop signing me out and fix the crashing problem already.

Honest Feedback - TPCi should be ashamed of this app

I have read a few reviews that I feel completely miss the mark. There are reviews that complain about the RNG, and while I have no idea how it’s coded I feel like it is definitely NOT the issue with this app. I would say that there are much much larger issues with this app. For starters, this app has been out for about 3 years now, and has no new game modes. Expanded format is still somehow in beta, there is no support for GLC, there are no leaderboards, no in game tournaments, nothing. The actual game looks extremely generic. If you play Pokemon TCG Pocket for a bit and return to this app you can clearly see a drastic difference in quality. TCG Pocket is built really well, cards work as intended, etc. Meanwhile when you open this app, it looks like it’s still in alpha. Avatars look awful, no reason for them to exist. Customization options lack any kind of love and care. There are bugs that still need to be addressed (cannot select certain cards when performing a search for some unknown reason, some abilities don’t work when they should i.e. meowscarada with grass energy in hand) that have existed since launch. Every update takes one step forward half step back to where the game should have launched in the first place. This games saving grace is the fact that it is completely free to play* but the recent economy changes are a head scratcher. At this point I wish there were micro transactions if it meant that the game would have an actual budget, and would be built well. But it is what it is, it is the best we got for the Pokemon TCG so we deal with it.

Absurdly confusing

Just the tutorial that you can’t skip is over 100 clicks. Way too complicated

I like the TCG but there are some major issues

Anonymous 5.10 on

I have liked Pokemon for a long while, including the cards, and this game does a good job doing things like giving good decks and just the game in general. But, there are some major issues. These include that sometimes it will stay on the coin flip screen and not move onto the actual game so it forces me to concede. Also, there have been a couple times, after my active Pokémon attacks and it stays in its attacking animation so you can’t play it or cards it’s blocking. So I would just like these glitches to be fixed. Also, there was 1 time I searched my deck but the menu was lowered so I couldn’t get any or the cards and it forced me to concede. Also, something I liked about TCG Online that isn’t in Live is that there was trading and legacy decks but it was removed for some reason. If you read this, can you fix these and if you have time add trading and legacy decks?

Sorry to say, but I’m still at one star…

Could be great but not great on

This is a follow-up to my previous review, and I’m a bit sorry. The game itself is free, no money needed, but I still don’t get why you need a trainer account to access the game. I wish you, (the game creators) didn’t have to ruin the game in the way the other players/reviewers say. I still want to play because the packs in the game a definitely are cheaper! lol.

This is amazing
