Python Editor App

yeah, this is a rip-off. Avoid.

Can’t physically use without paying. Anytime you try to open the app, it hits you with a popup for the premium version, nothing crazy, expect that you physically cannot close it dismiss it, etc. Sometimes it isn’t there, and you’ll write a full page, alt tab, come back and have your entire workflow locked behind a popup.

A recent update has taken this once free/functional app and locked it behind an instant paywall. You literally cannot do ANYTHING in the app other than subscribe. I suspect the Developer either sold this app to someone trying to milk it…or they had a blood clot that lead to a catastrophic stronk in their brain that lead to terminal doodooheadatitusingtons. Either way: RIP.

Don’t be fooled. This is is no way a free app, it’s paid which is something they don’t tell you until you open the app and try to do anything. Furthermore, you can’t close or bypass the pop-up that asks for payment. You have to fully close the app and reopen.

It would have been useful to know that the app was paid instead of constantly being given popups to tell me to sign up to the free trial

Used to be that you could use this for free, with the pro subscription being optional. However, recently (in the last year) it is no longer able to use the app without the subscription, I don’t know why they don’t just make a paid version. Before it was good, now it is a useless app.

The first time I opened the app I got spammed with prompts to rate it and a non exit-able page telling me to get premium. Once I tryed to run a script I made the same prompt for premium appears making it unable to run anything

It’s not free, £3.99 per week… Why would I pay a subscription for something that is already free?

So,I been using this for like 6 months and it was good at first,I became really good in python but then one day when I wanted to write a script there wore a Python pro thing and it was impossible to skip it because it didn’t have the skip button,so the creator of this is forcing us to buy the Python pro but it’s like 3 pounds!

Don’t make an app free just to block use of the app behind a subscription fee that is NOT optional
