Raivo used to be a very nice and simple 2FA app, until some time last year the original developer sold it to a new company. The first thing the new company did was to erase your 2FA keys and gate everything behind a subscription. They have since walked that back, but no doubt that will not last and continuing to use Raivo is just waiting to have your accounts rug pulled for subscriptions.

Raivo was sold to another company without notifying users in any way. The next update made all users lose their tokens causing massive issues. The new owner also put export and import behind a subscription paywall. Very disappointed! Switched to Bitwarden Authenticator

Why reset?

I just needed to recover my keys. I have no idea why I needed to do that. I have not uninstalled Raivo or done anything to reset my phone, but suddenly Raivo was just reset. Very weird. It’s a good app otherwise.

This has been a fantastic Foss app, and now it has been ruined and cherry on top, all user data gone. Never coming back to this disaster!! You sold your soul raivo!

App has been changed to a subscription-based model w/o warnings. Also all keys are gone. Goodbye.
