Kemper need to do better. Offerings from Neural etc are already ahead, not good enough!

Honestly don’t update it if you don’t have to.

But sadly it has some basic problems. 1/ It crashes a lot. Tap on anything in the chain in a rig and it crashes 2/ I can’t select my rig from the list like in the App Store screen shots, just backward and forward. 3/ I can’t install new rigs or backup my profiler

This app doesn’t work. My kemper is connected to my router and my iPad is connected to the same network and the app simply cannot find the profiler.

When the Profiler was first launched (and I was a very early adopter), it had the worst user-interface I had ever seen. I’m pretty good with these things and a manual nerd, but this thing beat me. Scroll forward 5 (?) years and what we have now is a truly great piece of kit. The combination of Kemper Stage, foot pedal and Power Kabinet coupled with the latest software versions gives you a total recording and performance guitar solution. I would still give Helix the edge for built-in FX, hence only 4 stars, but the amp profiles in Kemper are something Line 6 can only dream about - unless they are working on a profiling v.2 Helix…?

It is superb how Kemper evolves. Software is updated constantly to improve and add new, extremely useful, features. Having the ability to use the head wirelessly is a boon. Who would have thought we could use these features when it was first introduced. Very much future-proof. Well done Kemper team.

Go to system settings and page across until you see turn on WiFi. Once that’s configured open the camera app and scan the QR code to join the network of the stage. Then launch the app and the device will appear. Also you must be on 8.5beta release or above. Enjoy.

Just keeps searching. So disappointed that it doesn’t work on iPad

After upgrade to levels 2 and 3 some banks are inaccessible from the iOS app. On an app there is no reason why you could not show all available banks. Happy with the upgrades. Working really well!

Still cant see the level 3 effects in 1.8.2
