The advert online showing it recreating old photos do not work at all. It takes your photos and turns them into completely different people. There’s a reason why it makes you pay before using the app features. DO NOT PAY MONEY TO THIS APP. 100% scam.
I recently tried RunwayML to create videos, but my experience was deeply disappointing. After subscribing, I was only able to generate two videos before the app informed me that I’d need to upgrade to a higher tier to continue. This was shocking, as there was no clear indication beforehand about such restrictive limits. What makes this worse is that my initial payment feels wasted — it’s like paying for a service only to be hit with unexpected additional charges almost immediately. There was no transparency about the limitations of the subscription, and I now feel misled and scammed out of my money. For anyone considering RunwayML, I urge you to carefully research their pricing structure and limitations. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend it to others until they improve their transparency and provide more value for their customers. Don’t buy this useless app.
Terrible product, even worse help centre.
I had high hopes for this, but no matter how detailed (or vague) you give it instructions. It just doesn’t seem to get it most of the time, or it will just do nothing and you’ve wasted your money. Now I’m 25 dollars poorer and angry. I’ve used free Ai gens that do a way better job 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
You not only have to pay for a monthly subscription you also have to buy credits that burn up fast and if you accidentally press the wrong button you lose your video and have to pay to re-submit it. It gets very expensive fast.

Very expensive , ask me but more for credit. And the videos are not realistic.
Brilliant
The AI is good at animating pictures, but when you add text to it, it doesn’t always recognize what you’re trying to tell it to do in the imagery. And this sometimes causes certain elements in the picture to become slanted or wonky and ruins the beauty of the animation. Other than that, so far it has been a great app to test AI-image animating.
Used to love RunwayML but after last update whenever I try to save video it just save each video as the first one you save. Disappointing
