NOTE: We are no longer adding new features to Set List Maker. We recommend our newer product, BandHelper, for the latest design and functionality.
Set List Maker is a powerful organizational tool for musicians. With thousands of people around the world using the app in creative ways, the app is packed with features to manage your repertoire, control your on-stage electronics and share with your bandmates.
MORE THAN A DIGITAL SONGBOOK
Set List Maker can store your lyrics and chord charts, but it can also keep track of your rehearsal notes and serves as an archive of all your set lists. You can include multiple reference recordings for each song, slow down or pitch-shift recordings while practicing,* transpose chords with one touch, and make a quick recording if inspiration strikes.* Then design your own screen layouts to show the most important information in each setting you play in.
YOUR COMMAND CENTER ON STAGE
Set List Maker can display your lyrics with simple auto-scrolling or custom automation tracks,* play backing tracks and click tracks through separate audio ports or inter-app audio,* play videos,* and configure MIDI-compatible sound and lighting equipment as you move from song to song.* You can control Set List Maker with MIDI* or Bluetooth footswitches, and link together multiple devices for screen sharing or remote control on stage.*
KEEP YOUR BANDMATES IN THE LOOP
Set List Maker can can export databases and import them onto your bandmates' mobile devices so everyone has access to the latest songs, set lists, and details of upcoming shows. You can also email set lists in PDF or HTML format, or print good old paper set lists to keep it simple on stage.

Some advanced features (*) require an in-app purchase. For details, please visit the Set List Maker website, which also contains tutorials and demo videos to help with your purchase decision.

Songs missing

Marcass. on

I am reluctant to write a review because I had been using this app so consistently for the last 7 years or so. However I have noticed a steady decline in support, recently the app has been deleting songs by it self which is incredibly frustrating. I’ve worked out that at least 72 songs had deleted themselves. It really puts me on the back foot now for sending clients set lists and being able to call songs on gigs. Unfortunately I think it’s time I look elsewhere for my gigging app.

Don’t waste your money

If you want an app to manage your song sets, that is easy to use and task appropriate for a gig or just song management, my advice is to look elsewhere. To open or import each song requires a number of clicks, the work flow is cumbersome and impractical. I wasted my money here, and my almost immediate request after purchase for a refund was ignored.

Just the thing you need

This app is exceptional. Everything I need in one spot. Can track gig bookings, easy set up with great white on Black for easy reading and operates well with the iPad.i have recommended this to many music colleges and will continue to do so. Great job.

Fantastic app for muso’s, vocalists etc... A+

I LOVE this app! And I really only use a fraction of its capabilities. The support and communication from the developers is wonderful. (Should you have any queries, thoughts, ideas or discover any cheeky hiccups) I mainly use set list maker to auto scroll through my lyrics (I’m lazy... and it’s an awesome security blanket) and also create sets for the gig. It has so many other great features including playing audio, midi files etc... Do yourself a favor, download this app, take a short time to set it up to your requirements and presto! Enjoy.

Too Hard

There are so many functions that it's a real headache to get things to work. Biggest issue for me is the single chart upload....Who has time to upload charts one at a time? 7/1/17...Thanks for the response, I'll contact you directly. I'm hoping you're not going to say that the iPad needs to be connected to a computer and charts imported through iTunes or something....

Head banging the iPad.

Frustrating to use. Too many factors involved just to put a setlist together. Auto scroll does what it wants. Keep it simple next time! Refund...

So many features…

This is a fantastic app I have adapted for two ensembles I play with. One a trio using midi files as backing the other a live five piece covers band doing pub and club gigs. The set kist or 'show' feature is just simply great and easy to setup and use. For the trio I initiate play of midi files to another app started in setlistmaker. The rehearsal feature is also very cool. Don't expect too much feedback from support in the midi department as I sorted my own problems failing any useful feedback other than here's my FAQ's by SLM. A very we'll put together and sophisticated app - non the less.

This is a terrific App... I use it in my band and it does everything it says, not like some of the other overpriced rubbish. Its a must have App for any serious Muso.
