Great app but it needs a dark mode desperately

For a person who has never invested, and otherwise wouldn’t, anything is better than nothing. That’s kinda what sharesies is. It’s UI is very accessible, it’s great at offering explanations, and putting money into ETFs and stocks is made super easy - great for the average person’s financial freedom! But, the fees are incredibly high and once you know what you’re doing (you should be investing in a portfolio of three ETFs weekly over 30 years, with a bit of stock gambling for fun on the side) you’re much better to invest with InvestNow or InteractiveBrokers. Their fees are MUCH LOWER. Over time high fees will DRAIN YOU. IKBR also offers markets all over the world and the full US share market (sharesies doesn’t). They are harder to navigate, so if you don’t know what you’re doing maybe try with sharesies first. That’s what it’s for! But thank you to sharesies for helping kiwis learn to invest!

Don’t know how sharesis justify 42% higher fx charges than the competitors like tiger trade.

I’m trying to close my account but it says I need to cancel my kids account first. I have not fully made the kids account so I am trying to continue creating it then cancel it however whenever I click continue, I am taken back to the home page so I am unable to create or delete the kids account

I have just spent 30 mins trying to figure out how to contact Sharesies. I have a question about my wallet that the bot can’t help with. I can see no way to contact them via the app. Very annoying and frustrating.

Trying to use this app on a second generation iPhone SE, it will not let me scroll through the different lists of companies, keeps glitching. Pretty poor for a highly marketed app.

Overall Sharesies is pretty amateur. Stocks don’t load properly and from phone can’t place order with coma , There r other issues to but can’t be bother

Unable to get past Sharsies KiwiSaver page without “finding out more” even though this has been promoted a lot already. Edit. This feedback has been reviewed by the team which is good 👌 Also once you get through KiwiSaver spiel, next login it allows you to access your portfolio unimpeded.

Loving the app. One request: In the wallet’s transaction history could you add a daily running balance and/or a daily money received/removed please. Recently I received multiple dividends on one day and it would’ve been great to see how much in total that was. Thanks!
