Skagen Smartwatches

The app regularly requires a mix of restarting and redundant refreshing to get the wellness data histories to show up. It also wants to track your location all the time to push weather updates, which seems unnecessary and suspect when the app could just push weather data for a location I enter or confirm. It also has an attractive but confusing organization of configuration options tucked around a prominently featured row of Skagen advertising blocks, making it hard to remember where to find which features. There are four separate configuration workflow entry taps: the big watch picture, the small watch icon, the hamburger menu at top left and through a set of blocks you find by scrolling the ad blocks to the left.

Not in love with the changes to the recent update to the app, as features/customizations are all over the place, not that customizable anyway, and the "updates" section is taking up a huge proportion of the screen (why are the wellness stats almost hidden now at the bottom?). Plus "notification" is spelled wrong in one of the panels... Come on, who is reviewing the final edits? More importantly, the rendering of the data dials, text, notification alarm, and even the logo have changed have changed on my watch. They are more pixelated now as if the wrong resolution was set to output. This is not the level of refinement expected for these watches. Please fix.

I like the fact that it is battery powered. You don’t have to plug it in. People have a hard time believing it is a smart watch.A good buy.

The email they give you bounces back so no service for you

The app looks great and functions smoothly, but the fact that Apple's Reminders app isn't available for notifications is a major oversight that I would like to see updated. Additionally, I was disappointed to find that I can't use the coloured dots on my watch face for notifications anymore. I can now only pick an hour direction on the watch face. This app already has model-specific features, and I would like to see this functionality returned to the Jorn.

I bought a watch because I thought the colors notifications seemed cool and all and when I finally received the watch and tried to set it up, I realized that the notifications don't work with the 4 small colored dots anymore but the hands only point at specific numbers rather turning the 4 colors dots pointless

I bought a smart watch for my daughter and I in November 2017, she’s changed her battery once, I’ve changed 3x. I’ve emailed to find out why this is but have not , as yet hear anything back from my query. I do love my watch - but just wondering why I’m having battery issues and my daughter isn’t.

The app updated itself. Now my watch is having connectivity issues. Message vibrations are not coming in too. I need to restart my phone to get the app to work. It was working fine before the update.

What I really hoped for is a solid way to "ring" my phone to find it. But two limitations: 1) it's only Bluetooth, and sensitive only within a few feet really, or one room with no obstructions between the devices and even more limited use: 2)the bloody app has to be actively on for it to work, which is a pain and a battery drain. The step counter is the next mist useful thing, happy enough with that despite the potentially inflated values. The vibration notifications work nicely, though I'd I'm Bluetooth-near enough to my phone, I'd likely notice it anyway. Nice watch though.
