Recently, my experience with Skype has been very disappointing. They’ve completely disabled the option to purchase Skype credits! This means there’s no way to use Skype to call certain smaller countries. Additionally, the subscription plans are incomplete—many regions don’t even have available plans, and the option for unlimited global calls isn’t open either. What’s worse, there’s no way to purchase these services through the app, which is incredibly frustrating. For a platform that promotes itself as a global calling tool, these restrictions are unacceptable. Skype used to be a convenient tool, but now it completely fails to meet users’ needs. I hope they address these issues soon, or they risk losing more users.
