Smart Life has integrated with HealthKit. It allows you to seamlessly connect your health records using the body fat scale to Apple Health, where BMI, weight, height, fat percentage, and more can be found in Apple Health's body measurements, giving you a clear and comprehensive picture of your health. You'll need to enable health privacy permissions for Smart Life.

That any app developer needs to ask, is it better to try to be everything to everyone and do it to a mediocre standard or to focus on a few things and to do them incredibly well. The app is average, it feels like it needs a big refresh. It seems most devices can be added but the function of them is limited within the app itself, after two plus years I still haven’t worked out how to set up automations - there is no simple logical workflow and it is also quite laggy. There is also no link with apple home and despite it appearing in the settings it doesn’t seem to do anything. It also no longer appears to push device name or status changes to Alexa which I think it did do in the past. It needs a refresh and it needs to focus on doing things better and including the matter standard.

Can only show a blank white screen.

This delivers much more than I anticipated there is a lot of bang for my buck in the app and makes a very simple $80 Wi-Fi camera a invaluable security feature for my home and with it being so manoeuvrable I can you multipurpose it even keeping an ion my cat when I’m away!!

Hardly ever works. Pretty much have to restart the app everytime you wish to do anything. Very budget product. Doesn’t work with home app

Features aren’t brilliant and won’t even use date format that phone is set to. Making us non Americans struggle with date format.

Useful devices but unreliable company

I have been using smart life devices mainly the wifi breakers. They work well and are somewhat easy to connect and configure. The updates to the app are often cause the disconnection of the devices. This gets to be frustrating. App is also not written by an English speaking person.

I open it to switch off a light and it stops Apple Music from playing. FFS! I used to have a group of devices (lights) that I could control as one, but when I shifted to Apple it stopped working. Control of devices is inconsistent. Interfaces for different devices at badly thought out. Definitely a second-rate piece of software.

Room scenes are frustrating

The app works well, but when you create a room you cannot seem to have a central theme to use across them all, you still have to go into each bulb and create, save and activate themes. This is the same with creating a “room” it allows you to do so but you still have to add bulbs manually to a schedule which defeats the point of it.
