Sonder - A Better Way To Stay

They say to use the app for all service requests but really it’s an app so they can’t accommodate anything for you. There definitely won’t be any early checkin or late checkout available so don’t count on that at all - even though they say you can request it in the app.

Poor quality window treatments meant we basically could not sleep for 3 nights. Nice accommodation inside however the common area was very dirty and dark which was a let down. Would not recommend.

This whole experience with Sonder has been a nightmare and we only just checked in. They keep changing the door access code, the code they gave us didn’t work. Customer service has not been helpful.

After a nightmare with cancellations on our flights we finally arrived in Madrid to a bigger problem. Outbuilding had an electrical problem with the alarm blaring in all rooms and the elevator is out

If you are going to offer a phone key, make the phone key actually work. Another annoying thing about this app - it’s hard to close things by tapping the X. Have to do it a several times.

Don’t deal with them the pictures on the site and in the real are completely different they are scamming people and took my money, and also the have no parking lol worst hotel ever

Absolutely terrible system. I got an air bnb but it had me go through sonder online, then if you want to make changes you have to download the app. Which I did and created an account which took forever to actually go through and do when you try to connect any other account. Then once it all was done it said I don’t even have any reservations which isn’t possible since online and air bnb it shows that I do, with a verification code. I can’t make any changes to the reservation for the check in unless it’s on the app which it isn’t even connecting my account from online.

Awful, room has a bad bad odor

Took almost an hour on the phone with their tech support to check in by uploading a picture of my drivers license. “Can’t validate ID” error over and over… truly not worth the hassle and will be the last time I ever use this Sonder
