Sonder - A Better Way To Stay

It is actually a studio with a simple half wall Fifth floor has 7 steps between elevator and our room No instructions on how to unlock the door 1- press you hand on the key pad 2- it turns on 3- type your number 4- type the check mark The parking is another French first, Victoria parking No sign where to park No sign how to get out of the place Use elevator to go up two level Use two very narrow escalators to go up two more Then you are at street level with another 6 steps to go down What do the disable people do in Quebec Instead of forcing all Canadian to use both languages and French only in Quebec, do something for your visitors and disable people

Wow props to whoever designed this app. It is perfect! Beautifully designed. No glitches. Smooth and intuitive. Even has a mobile key!

First of all I had stayed about 2 years ago and it’s location was south of Palm Springs. I had no clue they had changed their location to north Palm Springs where it is super windy. I would never had booked it if I had that info. Then we finally get to our room 107 and we have towels right under the AC : it is leaking and smells like molds. I am absolutely livid about the outcome. Definitely not the standard I had from the location Sonder had . I wish I had some sort of a warning before I booked it for Memorial Day weekend where everything is packed and cannot go somewhere else

WiFi non working

Can't use the pool, can't use the gym, can't use the main entrance. Can't use the amenities that I specifically booked my stay for. Super frustrated

So, I’ve stayed at a few Sonder locations - Philly, D.C. and LA. Only ever had an issue in Philly, the shower wasn’t working the night we arrived, they got maintenance out in the morning to fix the issue. The problem was worse than expected, so they moved us to a better room in the building. Anyway…I’m here right now because I was going to start planning for a trip. And, noticed the only page on the app that’s functioning is the ‘Explore’ page. Stays, Chat and Profile page will not load.

Wasn’t happy to learn you are not a hotel after confirming a non refundable booking.l - for a room in the basement. Feels like a dormitory. Got here a little early and paid $40 plus fees. $59 to check in. I hope it gets better. Standing here in the hallway for another 15 minutes to check in.

If I had known it had no staff and it was all an app like this I would’ve slept on the street

Clean rooms, great bathrooms… ice, hot pot, teabags, and coffee… Comfortable beds with lots of pillows… Great TV that allows me to access my own subscription services, and in South Beach, it’s close to food, the beach, parks, and transportation!!!

No roku devise, bad telephone support and in person help
