Squarespace: Run your business

On the rare occasion that I am able to access one of my sites, this app is okay for making rudimentary changes. However, it usually doesn’t let me access any sites. Instead, what appears to be a default error message that none of my sites are compatible with the app is all I can see… apparently none of my 7.1 sites are identifiable as 7.1 sites.

The marketing videos that Squarespace creates are engaging and to-the-point but after choosing the desired product for the ad while trying to post the videos using the iOS app on my iPad and iPhone, I get the same result: the app will freeze without responding to any prompts, requiring the app to be closed and reopened before functioning and still without posting the marketing video. This has been the outcome before and after checking for an updated app version, as well as uninstalling the app and reinstalling the app.

What you can’t do here is far more common than what you can. Utterly useless functions — why would you want to change Language and Region here? Extremely clunky and maddening.

Not only did Squarespace take over the maintenance of all my domains from Google, but it made it very inconvenient. This App works only with websites that are made on squarespace, but I don't have them. So, it's a useless app

It’s impossible to do anything with the app, I’ve uninstalled it multiple times to no avail. I keep getting error messages and then it locks up. I’m on a brand new iPhone 15 pro max and have no issues with any other apps. I switched to squarespace with the appeal of being able to edit it from the app and not have to rely on the desk or laptop, but now am thinking of switching back to my original platform bc I can’t even view analytics with out it locking up.

This new update crashes the app whenever I tried to edit a text box, especially in the shop. Sometimes when I click into the text box, it moves to entire block.

I love the idea of the app but Jesus Christ this app is slow. Desktop version is better but not by much. I gave it 3 stars because it technically does do what I need it to do…for now, but it just takes 7-10 business days to load whatever I tap on.

For all the ads I hear touting easy assistance, I was disappointed to find that help is not available. They have a robot who will send you articles you could have found on your own. The upgrade to 7.1 is terrible. It’s truly a bad platform and really hard to use—it can’t possibly be easier than a free website. And it is so expensive.

I’m currently waiting on a support request I submitted over 2 days ago, and I still haven’t received an answer. I can’t go live with my new website until Squarespace provides the CNAME record value that they failed to provide to an earlier request. I’ve only received a generic email that says “We're currently experiencing an unprecedented volume of requests………..” I complained on this platform 5 months ago about slow customer support. The developer response included: “Our team is experiencing a higher than normal volume of requests…..” Maybe Squarespace should devote more resources to this constant problem.

I cannot believe that I can’t even publish my website until I pay?! I am just so mad and sad and frustrated I hate this app so much and if I could give a zero star rating then l would.
