Really liked Tom Tom go for car, so purchased Tom Tom go Truck £79.99 put all the dimensions in of my large motorhome which is 6400kg & it kept trying to take me down lanes I will not fit or would of taken the sides out of my motorhome double checked my input information & was correct. Very disappointed have requested a refund.
I can't believe the other reviews about the ease of use. I subscribed to this because I have a caravan and didn't want to end up a country lane. However the app fails to find my destination on the last 3 journeys or not accurate when I get there. Tried to send me down a country lane which was obviously unsuitable a caravan. Today I planned a route on AA route planner no issue. Tried on app finds the destination but says no route. Take it out of truck mode to car mode same result not good for a travel app
Its great when it works, at the moment I’ve got a bug that means traffic doesn’t work when first setting off, and doesn’t load for the whole journey. The fix is to close the app on my phone, then reopen on CarPlay, which is impossible to do legally without stopping. As of July 2024 this had been happening every time for the last 4 months. Please fix it, I’ve tried contacting support, but just get the usual chat box nonsense. To reply to TomTom’s questions: The problem occurs on every journey, it doesn’t matter where I’m going to. It’s only when I set off, if I stop and restart the app then the traffic does show up. Update to this problem - appears to be caused by my VPN, I have Nord VPN and the fix is to go into the VPN app and pause it before setting off, traffic then works fine.

Decided to get this as my GARMIN Motorhome/camper sat nave didn’t update. Correctly as I wasn’t able to connect it to a computer as I am travelling…. So I thought hey go for the truck subscription of Tom Tom go and therefore decided not to do the 7 day trial but to subscribe straight away as it was offered at £20 less for the first year…. However the billing wasn’t correct when processed through the Apple App Store and I was put onto the 7 day trial… this then made me feel cheated so I cancelled the subscription before the end of the seven days. It would be good if you could sort this bug out with Apple for other potential users.
WE Need ULEZ and LEZ zones added to Maps

I wanted this for work as i drive a coach but it didn’t do anything the ui is awful maps awful entire app isn’t worth free let alone £90 a year waste of my time and I recommend you don’t bother
