Trainline: Cheap Train Tickets

I’m trying to contact the customer service for the past 2 months I’m and unable to get to them. I got my railcard from this app and my railcard is not showing up in the app and even I tried all the methods shown in the app. Now I have to pay fine because I’m unable to show my railcard to the authorities. And tried contacting the customer service using the transaction Id given when I got the railcard and it’s saying that they can’t find any booking references and I’m stuck and helpless with a hefty amount to pay as a fine even though I have purchased and have the valid railcard.

The app’s navigation is confusing. If a train is late then all it will say is “not enough time to connect” when it comes to the next train. Yep that’s absolutely correct captain obvious but can we see other connection options please? I booked a ticket with two passengers. There is no possibility to cancel one of the passengers. Either cancel the whole thing or keep it as is. Basically if you need to make any changes then you’re entering a world of pain

The tickets don’t come as a pdf. Train line forces you to download the app and then when you open the app the tickets aren’t even available there. Cheap tactics to increase app downloads without any value for the user.

Find time and price button is not working in my phone I tried reinstalling and every possibilities I updated new version as well but still facing issue.

Good ideation. Bad implementation. Your UI is very poorly designed. I’m not able to change my timings after I missed the train. There should be an option to change the journey on the go.

I booked my train to Corby from St Pancras on 20th July 2022. Unfortunately trains were canceled due to heat wave and I got notification that I can get on to the next train so I went to train station. I waited for almost 3-4 hrs as none of the train showed on chart showed up. I had to head back to my place. I tried cancelling the tickets for refund and the app asked to call or mail . Calls were saying(IVR) that I will get my refund but nothing happened for two days . I then wrote to their customer care and no response from there either. So I lost my £ 57.

Although Splitsave is a good way to make your journey cheaper, it makes it so difficult in understanding these ticket types. For example, booking open return tickets give a day return on one part of the journey and a calendar month return on the second.

I am on iphone 5s .. Trainline app crashes randomly .. I hear your mind’s voice dear Team.. I will change my iphone soon. But till then please fix it .. Coz I am playing PUBG on the same iPhone, it crashes less randomly(but it heats up my phone.. never mind).. sad but true..! Thanks for hearing..! Cheers Mates..! 😬
