TripIt: Travel Planner

I’m not an app-crazy person. An app has to work really well and easily to win me over. I love that Tripit can remind me if my schedule with just one click. So smart and easy.

Love this app! Great for organizing travel documents and calendar all in one location. Would recommend for all trips short or long.

I have been traveling for business for years. Used to use a lot of old school methods, even printing off confirmations. This app is incredible and have all my reservations at my finger tip. Highly recommend the TripIt app.

I use TripIt for all my trips. It’s great that it automatically updates travel plans from email and makes it easy to organize everything on your trip. I also like that it is easy to include friends and share itineraries with them.

downloaded app 3 times. emailed all my stuff. hiccup after hiccup - nothing pulled out. meh. wanted an itinerary from my multiple bookings. hope someone else has better luck. maybe works well if you pay the $50. Clarify - I was looking for free function.

I have been using Tripit since 2017 and I love this app. I am retired now and travel to Europe a lot. This app tells me when to leave for the airport and gives me updates every step of the way. I’m notified of flight changes before the airlines post them for the general public. I recently took a trip to Switzerland and was notified of a flight change before the airline posted it. Before we exited the plane I knew which carousel our baggage would be delivered to. My wife previously thought I relied on Tripit to much and was always trying to prove me wrong. Now she relies on the information provided by Tripit without question. It’s like traveling with a travel secretary. I use the pro version, which comes with a subscription, but for a couple of dollars per month, Tripit is well worth the cost for me. I really like having an accurate record of all my travels over the years, and no longer have to guess when I went where.

I’ve had this app for several years and loved it but just recently, right before leaving on a trip and buying TripIt pro, I can’t scroll through the timeline. It’s very jerky and slow and bounces around. I see that others are recently reporting the same problem. It’s been very frustrating and I’m now ready to go back to another app. I’m hoping this will be fixed soon but if not I’ll have to forfeit my pro fee and transfer everything to another app. TripIt support has reached out to me and asked for more info and screen recordings but has been unable to fix the issue.

About to go on trip and app logged me out and I can’t now log back in. See this has happened to others using the app.

Now it rejects my Marriott confirmations. So the app is only about 50 percent useful. If I wanted to type in all the information myself I would just use Outlook. Frustrating and annoying.

I’ve been using this app for decades and have logged many dozens of trips, both business and personal. It’s a critical tool for all of my international travel putting all details together in a single, easy to access format. I can’t imagine traveling without it.
