TripIt: Travel Planner

I was looking for travel app long time and finally landed here. To be short - others even worse. App does not follows the trip itself - updates regarding departure gates and delays are coming after I’ve landed and finished the trip. Any info update in the app crashes says “unable to save changes” but surprisingly - saves are inside. So in general - this app creates much more mess than solves it. People are forced to use it due to corporate travel programs - maybe on that level it’s ok, but when you work as private person with it - it’s a disaster. And at the very end - app just deleted my travel with 7 connection flights after update. Thanks, but no.

the application cannot add my ticket, and cannot add it manually to and via mail

Longtime use this program for my trips assistance, first time my flight leave earliest shown time in TRIPIT, in air company said with schedule everything ok, but problem with TRIPIT schedule... Fine! Ticket non refundable, no show mean non rebook, I was close to purchasing PRO, but now prefer never use TRIPIT anymore... So be careful don't trust to TRIPIT schedule

Use it everytime I travel abroad. Very intelligent and useful app.

But only shows flights and booking. Doesn't show map plans, which are most I create, such as places must visit, or just sightseeings that I will visit if I have time

The best application in the marketplace, you don't need a travel agency, as this will line up your plans step by step, never miss a reservation or an itinerary

Very easy to navigate.

IMO, both TripIt and Flighty are essentials for anyone who travels more than once or twice a year. No longer are tools like these necessary only for the for road warriors and mileage mavens who fly 100,000 miles or more each year. Flying today is an adventure (not in the good way) in surprises, confusion, and stress. Triple that if you're with kids, pets or anyone you have to look after. We lose stuff, forget things, and act stupid after seven hours of having our knees up around our ears and landing in an unfamiliar place where it's still yesterday on the calendar. TripIt is like having your own lady with the umbrella leading you to the security line and baggage claim, and who tells you that your flight was cancelled an hour before the airline tells you. Combined with Flighty's ability to confirm that, find alternative routes, and show you where the plane is, you are at least partly the master of your fate in a universe of chaos.

For some reason when I show people what Tripit does, I can’t get the point across how simple it is. Forward reservations to Tripit = COMPLETE DETAILS all in one place. Even the free version is amazing. I prefer the paid version, but both are great tools if you enjoy traveling and don’t like to carry printed details with you.
